As the Shopper Activator, you will support the Shopper Manager to bring voice into the category growth teams, commercial teams and customers, ensuring winning strategies are implemented across multiple channels.
You will support the shopper strategy definition and execution across the Western Europe zone (for a number one Digestive brand) and across Spain and Portugal in order to deliver winning Brand / Category Strategies at the POS (Online/Offline) based on shopper insights

As Shopper Activator *(all genders) within our Shopper Marketing Team you’ll get to support the Shopper strategy across a category leading Digestive brand and across the spanish and portuguese market.

Main responsibilities:
- Support shopper strategy definition and execution across the country in order to deliver winning Brand / Category Strategies at the POS (Online/Offline) based on shopper insights and brand insights.
- Make sure the shopper strategies are coherent with the brand positioning, able to conquer the targeted shopper profiles by maximizing the purchasing drivers and driving impact in-store.
- Develop future focused category growth vision to ensure Opella is a market leader in must win sub-category and shopper understanding reinforcing external relationships.
- Lead our customers with the appropriate guidance to suit shoppers’ desires and needs in our different categories.
- Be an active link between the brand marketing strategy and the customer needs to deliver a strong trade proposition.
- Be an active ambassador of Category, Shopper & future retail environment focused thinking.
- Collaborate with Customer teams to define/deliver the supporting tools for engaging pharmacists and maximize support and recommendations when a growth driver.
About you
- Experience: Experience in FMCG companies or Consumer Healthcare. Executional excellence and leadership.
- Soft and technical skills: Strategic, integrative and analytical thinking. Autonomy and ability to balance long-term strategic priorities with short-term business needs. Creativity and problem-solving. Team spirit, persuasiveness & influence, highly collaborative with all cross functional partners. Digitally Savvy. Adaptable to a fast-paced, high-growth, changing environment. Strong business & financial acumen. Externally focused and customer orientated.
- Education: Business or scientific background, Bachelor degree.
- Languages: Excellent communication and presentation skills (both written and spoken) in Dutch, French and English.
