We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial Data Governance Program Manager to join our digital organization. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the GTMC Data Management Leads and Data Stewards to facilitate the implementation, continuous improvement and digital enablement of data governance within our commercial domain. This role is instrumental in ensuring our digital assets and technologies fully support the integrity, quality, and proper utilization of data across across the commercial teams.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Drive with the Commercial Data Management Leads from GTMC definition of data governance objectives, priorities, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Drive in collaboration with GTMC, GBU & digital products teams, definition and implementation of prioritized data governance activities & enablers in digital assets.

  • Co-lead, with GTMC & Digital product lines, identification, characterization & resolution of prioritized data issues.

  • Co-lead efforts to identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to commercial data governance with GTMC data management leads, GBU teams, digital product teams.

  • Drive the adoption of data governance best practices and standards across commercial digital teams globally.

  • Collaborate with Enterprise Data Governance Office to identify & address technology gaps as well as continuously improve existing technology capabilities.

  • Provide regular updates and reports on the progress of data governance initiatives to key stakeholders in collaboration with GTMC.

About You

Key Requirements & Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience related to data management e.g., data stewardship, data analysis.

  • Experience with core commercial business processes generating our critical data assets e.g., marketing campaign planning, field force operations.

  • Experience interacting & influencing with business leaders to explain complex topics & recommend pragmatic decisions focused on business value e.g., successful collaboration with country general management, franchise leadership…

  • Strong analytical skills to identify core root causes involving multiple technical & business stakeholders.

  • Experience working with a variety of cross-functional teams.

  • Data Governance and Compliance: Strong understanding of data governance principles, compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and best practices for data management

  • Strong pragmatic mindset, ability to leverage enterprise frameworks to deliver tangible value.

  • Strong presentation skills to present clearly issues to be resolved & value at stake, to influence towards decision for sustainable resolution

  • Good understanding of program management practices

  • Able to work in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment and manage multiple priorities

  • Service-oriented, flexible team player

  • Experience with data products and/or informatica data governance tools is a plus

  • Experience of tangible data governance results delivery e.g., in an affiliate, a GBU… is a plus

  • Bachelors Degree Required
