About the Opportunity

This is an internship position for the summer months in the state-of-the-art Manufacturing Sciences Laboratory at Sanofi Waterford. The candidate will lead product-process characterization of complex biological drug product. Sanofi has a rich pipeline of Biopharmaceuticals based therapeutics and this position will provide the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of Clinical and Commercial products as well as engaging with multiple departments throughout the Sanofi network for late stage development, industrialisation and life cycle management activities.

About You

To excel in this role you will need to have:

Essential requirements:

• This internship is suitable for candidates pursuing a degree program life sciences or relevant field
• Knowledge in either Protein, Physical or Manufacturing Sciences
• Knowledge of downstream and fill finish processes for biologicals
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with Ability to influence at senior level
• Enthusiasm and passion for science contributing to an energized working environment
• Ability to quickly adapt to changes in project direction
• Technical expertise in either: Protein, Physical or Manufacturing Sciences
• Be able to drive change and find innovative ways of performing technical investigations
• Cooperate transversally with peers at all levels throughout the Sanofi network
• Exhibit strong leadership competencies – leading by example while providing strong scientific thinking and rationale
• Be passionate about your own development as well as that of your team
