Manufacturing Science and Analytical Technology (MSAT) is a global function which drives the industrialization and the improvement of biological processes and products. It embarks new technologies and digital trends. It is the keeper of manufacturing process knowledge. MSAT is at the crossroad of R&D and production. It is a multi-disciplinary function that provides expertise in process, manufacturing sciences, process modeling, statistical analysis, process validation and technology transfer.

Main responsibilities

  • Receive hands-on training in upstream or downstream bioprocess equipment to conduct lab activities independently.

  • Collaborate with your mentor to support development and verification studies, including new product development, process optimization, and scale-down investigations.

  • Assist in drafting MSAT technical documents, such as protocols, reports, and memos, for process transfer, validation, and troubleshooting.

  • Support process disruption investigations by coordinating, monitoring, and assessing process trends and impacts.

  • Contribute to corrective and preventive actions, assisting with documentation, sampling, coordination, and project management.

  • Help facilitate technology transfer by supporting MSAT representatives in knowledge sharing and preparing key documentation.

  • Develop tools and systems to standardize processes and capture key learnings across Sanofi’s network.

About you

Education:

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Science, Bioengineering, or Chemical Engineering.

Skills:

  • Strong communicator, able to collaborate across teams and cultures.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.

  • Self-motivated and proactive, able to work independently.

  • Curious and passionate about scientific research.

  • Experience with data analytics tools like R, JMP, Python, or Matlab is a plus.
