Job Title: Lead US Reimbursement Policy and Pipeline Planning

Location: Bridgewater, NJ

About the Job

This role is a key member of the US Reimbursement and Public Policy function and is responsible for the review, assessment, and crafting of Sanofi’s public response to specific US Health and Human Services government program regulations for Medicare Part D. This requires deep analysis of the material and cross functional integration with several internal stakeholders on matters of how these policies impact today’s and tomorrow’s pharmaceutical marketplace, health system participants, and business operations. Influencing trade group alignment at the workgroup level of Sanofi’s regulatory positions is a key responsibility for the program areas assigned.

As a partner to Market Access and other relevant functions and stakeholders with vested interests related to the Part D policy issues at hand, this role drives alignment and effectuates decisions as to what constitutes effective Sanofi US advocacy policy positions. Through these partnerships, positions must reflect a balance of perspectives with patient interests at the center.

Another key function of this role involves pipeline planning and environmental policy shaping to support future product launches. Such responsibility includes partnering with Corporate Affairs teams and brands to conduct research and achieve understanding of the relevant policy and market environment opportunities and risks. The role must help lead the development of valued policy solutions and support relevant advocacy execution.

  • Craft and deliver external advocacy messages to HHS. This role formulates Sanofi position concepts and drafts public comments as it relates to the public regulatory comment process. These comments are developed and written in response to internal engagement with business stakeholders and assessments of relative business impact.

  • Trade Group Advocacy – For reimbursement and policy issue areas assigned, this role must advocate Sanofi’s position in the trade workgroups amongst member companies.

  • Pipeline Planning– The role must engage in policy shaping to support future product launches. The process includes researching the market and policy environment, identifying solutions, and working with relevant Corporate Affairs teams and brands on advocacy planning and execution.
