About the Job
Under the supervision of the Global Medical Brand Lead, nirsevimab, provide medical strategic advice/expertise for the Sanofi Pasteur RSV portfolio of products. More generally, support Global Medical Strategy departmental priority initiatives as defined by Head of Global Medical Strategy. Contribute to internal working groups for process improvements, policies elaboration (OQS, SOPs, etc.), and other key initiatives as required.

Main Responsibilities:
Define and drive the global medical strategy for RSV in alignment with the overall franchise strategy, including evidence generation and data dissemination strategies
Be a spokesperson for the company to present medical strategy in accordance with the scientific data and evidence to external audiences
Establish, develop and maintain contacts with international (global) external experts including, international & supranational bodies
Execute global scientific meetings with international experts (e.g. advisory boards, clinical research updates, advocacy boards)
Deliver innovative medical communications solutions/resources for global, regional, and local medical teams to support external medical activities
Drive scientific planning and content for Sanofi Pasteur activities to at international congresses
Optimize working practices for the global medical community to ensure alignment with global strategy
Conduct medical training for global, regional and local medical colleagues to ensure global, regional and local medical colleagues are experts in the scientific data and evidence
Provide medical input to support successful clinical development, registration and market access, particularly with respect to consolidating the medical insights
Provide medical input to all regulatory and pharmacovigilance activities related to lifecycle management of product
Participate in and advise global internal committees and crisis teams
Provide medical oversight and monitoring activities for global medical studies in accordance with ICH-GCP guidelines
About You
CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Masters degree in a related scientific field is minimum educational requirement. Strong preference for candidates with MD or PhD. Masters of Public Health in vaccines or infectious disease specialization an advantage
7-10 years’ experience in medical affairs, with 3+ years in regional/global role
Prior vaccines and/or RSV experience required
Strategic vision
Strong ability to build and maintain networks
Excellent communication skills
Excellent leadership skills
Strong influencing and negotiation skills
Fluent in English; French fluency and other languages an advantage

Sanofi's Bridgewater, NJ office is scheduled to relocate to Morristown, NJ on or around March 24, 2025 and this role will then be based in Morristown, NJ.
