Public Affairs Vaccines Manager Romania & CSE MCO is a double hatted role to the Romania Public Affairs Vaccines Manager role with responsibility to align, assist in the implementation of the Corporate Affairs CSE MCO strategy for vaccines and coordinate the key projects in assigned area among the countries of the MCO.

Reporting to the Public Affairs Vaccines Lead Poland & CSE MCO this role acts as a Public Affairs vaccines support to Corporate Affairs Leads in CSE MCO countries and strategic partner to Heads of Vaccines with focus on Romania, transferring the business needs to the countries and translating them into public affairs actions.

Main responsibilities:

  • Adapt and implement Vaccines Public Affairs strategies at the country (Romania) & CSE MCO level ensuring alignment with global plans.
  • Lead collaboration with Corporate Affairs, Medical, and Commercial teams (at country level and CSE MCO) to ensure our external leadership and internal capability, supporting the company’s strategy and ambition and ensure a cohesive approach to public affairs and policy.
  • Provides adequate support to the local Corporate Affairs Leads in implementing the advocacy activities and ensures day-to-day coordination and CA Vaccines roadmap implementation, securing a proper community alignment.
  • Build relationships with government officials, healthcare providers, and patient advocacy groups to advocate for vaccination programs.
  • Monitor and address local healthcare trends, policies and challenges to support vaccine-related initiatives.
  • Engage with local NGOs, associations and stakeholders to drive vaccine access and public health initiatives.
  • Advocate for vaccines by working with external agencies and policymakers to remove barriers and promote vaccination.
  • Ensure effective stakeholder engagement for vaccine launches product readiness and market access.
  • Manage communication strategies and align brand messaging with healthcare policies and priorities.
  • Represent the company in national and regional associations and forums to influence vaccine-related policies.
  • Oversee compliance with ethical standards and regulatory frameworks in all public affairs activities.

About you


Experience:

  • Strong experience in Corporate Affairs (Communication and/or Public Affairs).
  • Proven track record working with global stakeholders and knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry regulatory framework.
  • Cross-country and cross-GBU experience preferred.
  • Broad experience working across communications, policy and stakeholder management (including government and peak bodies).

  • Strategic thinking, result-oriented and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work in a team with agility and resilience in navigating complex environments.

  • Experience with external stakeholder engagement programs and shaping public policy.

Education: Relevant educational background in Public Affairs, Communication, or related fields.

Languages: Full professional proficiency in English and Romanian.
