Are you a results-driven finance professional with strong analytical skills and a passion for partnering with the business? As Finance Business Partner Vaccines Vietnam, you will play a pivotal role in enabling strategic decision-making, driving financial performance, and ensuring budget discipline. This role requires a highly adaptable individual contributor with strong business acumen to provide financial insights, challenge assumptions, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure accurate forecasting, effective resource allocation, and alignment with Sanofi’s financial and operational goals. Main responsibilities
Business Partnering
- Be part of the Vaccine BU local governance instances (Operations Committee, Demand and Supply meeting, Management Committee) and provide financial insight to the local management
- Collaborate closely with Operation teams to drive results while ensuring alignment with latest budgets and forecasts
- Challenge business assumptions and ensure forecasts are realistic from a finance point of view
- Prepare and conduct business reviews with BU Head and Operation teams
- Provide financial expertise and analysis to support decision-making processes for Management and Operation teams (e.g., pricing, resource allocation, distribution-related decisions)
Financial Planning & Analysis and Performance Monitoring
- Manage and monitor BU financial performance by providing management with monthly KPIs, meaningful analysis, and comments to ensure accurate performance understanding (Topline, Opex, Distribution and Period costs, Headcount)
- Identify and communicate risks and opportunities versus budget and forecast, and define actions and mitigation plans
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting during the monthly closing cycle, with strong coordination with Country Accounting, Controlling Operations, and Regional Finance teams
- Lead Financial Planning exercises and present financial forecasts, budgets, and quarterly landings to the Region
Internal Control & Governance
- Liaise with Internal Control and operational teams to ensure continuous improvement of internal control and finance processes
- Manage financial systems, support system implementations, process enhancements, and ensure data integrity
About you
Education and Experience:
- University degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business Administration
- Minimum 7 years of experience in Finance/Controlling; multinational experience and exposure to Pharma/FMCG is a plus
Industry Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of financial processes, business partnering, and internal controls in regulated sectors
Language Skills:
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
Leadership and Strategic Skills:
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking with the ability to challenge the status quo
- Ability to interact effectively with senior executives and influence key stakeholders
- Agile, creative, and adaptable in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Technical Expertise:
Proficient in SAP, TM1, Excel, PowerPoint, and financial reporting systems
