Are you a dynamic and strategic thinker with a passion for supply chain management and a knack for data analysis? Join our team as a Supply Chain Manager for External Manufacturing (EM) in the US Consumer Healthcare (CHC) division. In this role, you will oversee the supply planning function to ensure optimal finished goods inventory levels, supporting demand forecasts, customer sales orders, and achieving service level and inventory goals.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead a small team of supply planners working with ~ 25 CDMOs production plans:
  • Production & Capacity Planning: Update monthly production and capacity plans by item to ensure alignment with demand.
  • Cross-Functional Communication: Collaborate with Commercial, Procurement, Operations and Finance partners to communicate and align future supply plans.
  • Inventory Management: Track inventory trends and justify future projections to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Supplier Coordination: Facilitate weekly meetings with Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) to discuss open orders and relevant topics.
  • Business Reviews: Participate in regular business and supplier review meetings to ensure alignment and performance.
  • Schedule Execution: Coordinate with EM associates and quality assurance teams to ensure product availability.
  • Conflict Management: Hold CMOs accountable for on time, in full delivery of purchase orders with negotiation skills and confidence
  • Forecasting & Ordering: Prepare 12-month rolling forecasts by item and submit purchase orders (POs) to CMOs.
  • Material Transfer: Coordinate material transfers to pick up finished goods from CMOs.
  • Reporting: Maintain inventory reports and provide commentary for weekly Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) meetings.
  • Daily Operations: Actively participate in daily Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Innovation (QDCI) meetings and represent the External Manufacturing supply chain in weekly S&OE meetings.
  • Invoice Management: Engage with CMOs and procurement colleagues to clarify invoice discrepancies and ensure timely payments.
  • Additional Activities: Support internal supply chain and project-related activities as necessary.

About You

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years in CPG/OTC supply chain or materials management, with a preference for familiarity with FMCG
  • Working knowledge of key department interactions, including Plant Operations, Customer Service Order Management, Distribution, Financial Reporting, Quality Assurance/Control, Marketing/Sales, and Master Data Management.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across all functions. This includes effective communication, negotiation, and collaboration skills to ensure alignment and support for supply chain initiatives.
  • Professional Skills:
    • Proficiency in SAP or other ERP systems.
    • Experience with Kinaxis or other MRP systems.
    • Strong PC skills, especially in MS Office.

The salary range for this position is:

$96,188.00 - $138,938.00
