About the job

This individual’s primary responsibility will be to develop integrated marketing and educational strategies and tactics to support best-in-class commercialization of SARCALISA and future pipeline assets within the Oncology market.

This position will interface with China Oncology thought leaders, Sanofi leadership, the Sanofi Global Brand Team, Field Medical Leadership, Regulatory, Public Affairs, Medical Affairs, Product Communications and lead medical education agency efforts.

Main responsibilities:

Brand Strategy

  • Lead the SARCALISA brand plan ensuring consistency across functions.

  • Develop launch performance review mechanism with ownership of specific deliverables and KPIs

  • Brand positioning and message development

  • Creates and leads execution of key opinion leader development program

  • Work with medical team and other internal stakeholders to maximize the iEGP for SARCALISA in China

  • Builds on patient/customer insight to lead innovation

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the disease state(s), the competitive landscape and the overall market to develop high-impact and differentiating market conditioning strategies/tactics

  • Collaborate with Insights & Analytics to develop and generate appropriate data and competitive containment/positioning strategy and plan

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams that support the brands

Segment/Channel Management

  • Assess and share segment / channel insights that will ultimately identify financial opportunities and inform company strategic direction.

  • Develop and expand technical knowledge necessary for promotion within assigned segments / channels.

  • Routinely meet with an ever-broadening base of sales representatives and customers to enhance market knowledge and to share market insights.

  • Identify market/product opportunities based on changing customer demands, competitive activities and market trends.

  • Remain abreast of the market, the competition and the environment. Act as an information resource to all functional areas.

  • Assist in developing and managing segment / channel objectives consistent with brand and SP priorities.

Marketing Execution

  • Manage advertising agency partner and other vendors to ensure execution towards objectives.

  • Comply with all forms of legal and statutory regulation within domain of responsibility, including compliance with applicable SOPs, industry codes of practice and best practices and actively support and promote a compliance culture and safe environment throughout the organization

  • Customer segmentation and implementation strategies.

  • Ensure appropriate training in partnership with training team.

  • Partner with sales leadership to gather relevant feedback and competitive intelligence

Team Management

  • Allocate your and your team’s time proportionally to impact the most important business and team priorities.

  • Make effective use of supporting functions and resources.

About you

What you should have?

Education:

  • Minimum bachelor degree, master’s degree is preferred

  • Major in medical or related medicine science is preferred

Experience & knowledge:

  • Broad experience working in China and solid understanding of the evolving Oncology ecosystem in China

  • Solid experience of Marketing, Field force or Strategic planning is preferred

  • Good to have Experience in engaging customers through digital and multi-channel approach with solid deliverable

  • Fluent in Chinese and English
