About the Job

As Senior Key Account Manager, you will play a critical role in driving growth through strategic customer engagement, integrated sales planning, and operational excellence. You will lead the national sales planning for new vaccine launches, streamline end-to-end sales operations, and connect insights across geographies, customers, and channels to ideate agile, data-driven commercial activities. Your focus will be on unlocking growth opportunities, optimizing sales performance, and delivering seamless execution.

Your job, as Senior Key Account Manager within our Vaccines team, will be to drive impactful engagement and sales strategies that ensure success in vaccine launches and customer partnerships.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead and integrate national sales planning for new vaccine launches across channels, customers, and geographies.
  • Develop detailed launch KPIs, demand forecast assumptions, integrated activity plans, and track execution progress from pre-launch to post-launch phases.
  • Strategize and drive customer-based engagement plans for top national accounts, leveraging competitive analysis, customer insights, and market opportunities.
  • Identify sources of growth, propose holistic action plans to optimize sales performance, and enhance service partnerships.
  • Connect distributors and internal resources to standardize service delivery and operational processes.
  • Plan and lead monthly sales performance reviews, systematize bottom-up sales forecasting, and oversee consolidated sales activity planning and budget optimization.
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Medical, Customer Engagement, Key Accounts, and external stakeholders to ensure integrated execution.
  • Champion Sanofi’s Play-to-Win principles, demonstrating agility, adaptability, and customer-centricity in dynamic market environments.

About You

  • Experience:
    • 5–7 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably with exposure to vaccines.
    • Hands-on experience in field sales, customer excellence, and sales operations; marketing experience is an advantage.
    • Proven track record in planning and managing key accounts, leading sales teams, and driving customer engagement initiatives.
  • Knowledge:
    • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or a related healthcare field (preferred).
    • Solid understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in vaccines.
    • Familiarity with sales operations, customer engagement strategies, and distribution models within the healthcare sector.
    • Knowledge of integrated marketing-medical-commercial activities coordination.
    • Strong commitment to ethical standards, transparency, and compliance in all interactions.
  • Skills and Competencies:
    • Analytical and strategic thinking, customer insight generation, segmentation, and targeting.
    • Excellence in sales operations, forecasting, and multi-channel engagement planning.
    • Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, interpersonal, and communication skills.
    • Ability to manage projects, organize activities, and collaborate effectively across teams.
