As the motivated Energy Procurement Analyst Intern to join our Global Energy & Renewable Procurement team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in energy procurement analytics while developing reporting tools using Power BI.

This includes activities such as, but not limited to, partnering with the procurement team to support their objectives, assist with building reporting tools, consolidate all business needs and specification.

Main responsibilities:

• Design and build interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to visualize energy procurement analytics
• Assist in collecting and analyzing energy data (volumes, costs, technical information) across global facilities
• Support scenario modelling for renewable energy procurement decisions (Especially for Power Purchase Agreements)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements
• Help track KPIs related to energy procurement and sustainability goals
• Conduct root cause analysis and apply problem-solving approaches
• Act as a change agent and be force of proposals to make things and projects happen

About you

Experience:

• Min. 35–40-hour availability/week

Soft skills:

• Results oriented with strong analytical, attention to detail and problem-solving skills, notably on large data sets
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Power BI skills (use and development)
• Interest in energy markets, sustainability and procurement
• Flexible, curious, receptive, resourceful, creative, and results oriented
• Communication skills: Assertiveness, ability to convince/influence others and excellent presentation skills
• Able to quickly assimilate new information/skills
• Readily adapts to new environment, processes, ways of working
• Team player with excellent interpersonal sensitivity
• Role model in compliance and ethics

Education:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering or Business or another relevant field

Languages:

• Excellent command of both written and spoken English required (other language, as French, is a plus)
