The role of the Detailed Scheduling Global Process Steward is to drive Industrial performance to achieve the Company, Function, GBU and site’s Strategy and Ambition in Manufacturing and Supply (M&S) Plan-to-Manufacture domains, including Planning, Purchasing, Direct Procurement, Production, Warehousing/Logistics, HSE, Controlling and Engineering & Maintenance using the Sanofi Systems like SAP, Athena, iShift, S/4 HANA, etc. The role will coordinate, lead and animate “Community of Practice” networks from the Manufacturing and Supply site for the master data and process adherence improvement effort.

This role works directly for the Business Process Owners and will support them in their domain responsibilities and will connect them to all the production sites for the improvements, and the requirements necessary. He/she will focus on 2 to 3 domains from the Plan-to-Manufacture (Manufacturing and Supply), like Planning, Purchasing, Procurement, Production, Warehousing, Distribution, Quality and Master Data. The Steward will also support their domains System Usage, Reports, Analytics, documentation, trainings, upskilling in all projects, like iShift, MARS, etc. The role is part of the Business Process Owners Team and will support the Sanofi Operating Model and Core Models for all systems.

Main Responsibilities:

The Global Process Steward is an on-going global role:

  • Coordination and animation site resources for specific domains (e.g. Global and Site Data Stewards, Key Users, etc. for Warehousing)

  • Support for global harmonization of the domains specific master data and business processes

  • Single point of contact for requests of new developments, improvements, changes in global business processes and related system tools.

  • Leading global priorities with all levels for value realization, simplification, and continuous improvement in the domains, data and processes.

He/she will support the harmonized process, data, and system adoption globally for his/her domains:

  • The Steward will be responsible for 2 or 3 of the Plan-to-Manufacture domains: Planning, Purchasing, Direct Procurement, Production, Warehousing/Logistics, HSE, Controlling and Engineering & Maintenance

  • Data Quality and Process Adherence at target for all his/her domains

  • Deploy the upskilling process, training documents and make sure that new practices are properly adopted globally in all sites for Detailed Scheduling

  • Provide on-going strategic support to all GBU levels and sites for their domains

  • Provide support for cross-domain, cross-functional decision making when changing/implementing domains business processes

  • Coordinate Pilot User Acceptance Tests and regression tests for new releases, critical master data updates and ensure training guide updates in their domains

  • Provide sites input to the BPOs in the creation, maintenance and updates of global SOPs

  • Lead and animate the domains network/community of practice for all the sites

  • Lead global audit readiness for Core Models and Data for their domains

As the link between sites domain responsibilities (domain Process Stewards, Key Users, etc.) and the M&S domain BPOs, the steward is committed to maintaining and developing his/her own skills on his/her domains processes, master data, the core model and the systems associated.

About You

Basic Qualifications:

  • University degree in engineering, IT/Digital or a related field preferred, or equivalent business trainings and education

  • Five to ten years' experience in Detailed (Production) Scheduling, plus 2 or 3 of the following domains: Planning, Purchasing, Direct Procurement, Production, Warehousing/Logistics, HSE, Controlling and Engineering & Maintenance, can also be IT/Digital experience

  • Competence for tools and working knowledge of the systems: SAP, S/4 HANA, and others (or fast-learner of new tools and software)

  • Knowledge about Manufacturing & Supply, and sites (entire process, data, organization, competencies, equipment, tools…) for Manufacturing and Supply (PtM)

  • Proven leadership and management skills, in matrix environments

  • Track record of change management and improvements


Technical Skills, Competencies, and Language:

  • Understanding of continuous process improvement

  • Comprehension of Project Management methodology

  • Ability to manage and support diverse colleagues from different sites

  • Ability to manage cross-site alignment, harmonization and integration

  • Orientation to change and ability to identify human and organizational impacts, cross-sites and globally

  • Ability to mobilize people, to convince and reach goals

  • Ability to continuously enhance the core skills with a global harmonized vision

  • Communication skills (both verbal and written) with technical and operational fluency in in English. French or other languages a plus

  • Good listening and interpersonal skills

  • Capacity to anticipate and organize team activities

  • Strong analytical skills to understand problems and business impacts

  • Skills in problem solving

The salary range for this position is:

$125,250.00 - $180,916.66
