As we continue to grow, we are seeking a visionary and strategic leader to join our team as the People Director for Eurasia MCO (Turkey, Russia and Levant Region).
The People Director Eurasia will be responsible for deploying a unified P&C local strategy that supports the company’s business objectives and the Global CoEs strategic initiatives, enhance employee engagement, and fosters a high-performance culture.
The incumbent will be the part of the MCO Leadership team and work closely with leadership team orchestrate the P&C priorities to support the business and act as an integrator for the P&C community in the MCO.
This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, knowledge of social relations, appetite for IA and innovation, and a passion for cultivating a positive workplace culture and developing people.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure the deployment of One P&C strategy, and drive a strong P&C culture.
- Focus on building a strong employee self service culture, drives excellence and able to leverage AI, and drive employee experience.
- Focus on strategic activities such as workforce and succession, (in partnership with TM GBU Lead) talent & leadership development, culture, D&I for the respective market , in support of GBU/GF and CoE strategies
- Ensure talent strategy deployment at market level: Partner with the market Council to support their individual development. Review the Country Council succession depth to ensure appropriate talent density in partnership with the GBU/GF PBPs and TM leads
- Partners with leaders and Talent Acquisition CoE on senior leadership hires for the market and on hires into roles which help to build deep skill/knowledge in a critical capability area aligned to strategic plans.
- Own the global P&C support for employees and line managers through PE and Hubs and though country coordination.
- Manage the relationship with People Services at local level. Hereby, focuses on improving service experience and efficiency, and working in partnership with Business operation to reinforce our hub strategy.
- Own Social Unions /Labor Relations, is accountable for P&C compliance within market & manage P&C budget for the market.
- Has direct accountability over the following functions (within the Global strategic framework): TM, TA (depending on market/country), PE, Union relations, DCE (except NA) , R&P (except NA, France, Greater China and GSA) Partner with learning COE to build deep skill & knowledge
- Function Act as an outside Ambassador of Employer Branding promoting P&C Sanofi initiatives taking part in selected events and associations.
- Represents Sanofi externally, by shaping the external environment as advocate of critical business agendas, influencing key stakeholders
About you
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of HR experience, with international exposure.
- Proven experience in in leadership development, compensation, employee relations, culture transformation, and change management.
- Great leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization & ability to represent P&C externally.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Management of a remote and diverse team a +.
- Fluent in English.
