Our Team:
Sanofi Business Operations (BO) provides support across global functions to help drive efficiency, value, and operational excellence. Within BO, the People Services (PS) team is responsible for delivering end-to-end HR services, supporting employees through their entire lifecycle.
As the Chengdu PS Manager, you will manage a team of 20+ people and lead the delivery of high-quality, compliant People Services for the region. You will report to the People Services Head of the Kuala Lumpur Hub and collaborate closely with global and regional stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management:
Lead and inspire the Chengdu PS team to deliver service excellence.
Drive a collaborative and high-performing culture.
Set clear goals, support development plans, and coach team members.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (DTPs) in processes, while identifying and driving opportunities for efficiency or automation
Service Delivery:
Oversee delivery of key HR processes: Employee Life Cycle, Payroll, and Time Management.
Ensure data accuracy in Workday and integration with payroll systems.
Track KPIs and address service issues through root cause analysis.
Digitalization & Process Improvement:
Implement digital HR tools and process simplifications across the region.
Lead rollout of self-service processes in Workday (e.g., hiring, job changes).
Drive local adoption of global initiatives and contribute to automation projects.
Operational & Financial Management:
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for PS Chengdu.
Set up regional governance with key partners (P&C, Finance, Digital, etc.).
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and business continuity standards.
About You
Experience:
5+ years of experience leading HR operations or shared services in Asia.
Proven track record in managing large teams and transformation projects.
Soft & Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of HR models (HRBP, COEs, Shared Services).
Familiarity with Workday, One Support and digital HR tools.
Strategic thinking with the ability to solve operational challenges.
Effective leadership, team-building, and communication skills.
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related fields.
Languages:
Proficiency in English (advanced level).
Local language proficiency
