Main responsibilities:
The role of the Head of Account-to-Report (A2R) SK is to run Sanofi A2R operations from Accounting data recording to the production of financial reports.
Head of A2R SK is responsible for all accounting aspects of Sanofi Legal Entities in SK MCO
Responsible for accuracy and completeness of financial data at Legal entity level in coordination with the A2R service delivery hubs, by applying Sanofi’s guidelines and accounting standards.
Reviews and monitors technical accounting rules implementation, controls and compliance
Accountable of both local and corporate financial reporting: accuracy and fair representation of the legal entities financial statements and corporate reporting (Solar), and all the underlying processes that support the generations of the financial statements including Audit of local statutory accounts.
Responsible for reviewing, validating and providing expertise on the accounting treatment of complex flows, contracts, etc.
Head of A2R manages the relationship with key stakeholders
Interactions with key stakeholders such as MCO A2R Head, CFO, Service delivery hubs, S2V, O2C, Tax, FBPs, Supply Chain, Treasury etc…
Support from Accounting processes the Commercial Operations, Sites and other Global Activities housed in local affiliates
The A2R head will have on top the following responsibilities:
1. Reporting and completion of financials, and advisory on key accounting topics:
Accountable of both local and corporate financial reporting
Responsible for reviewing, validating, and providing expertise on the accounting treatment of complex flows, contracts, etc. to the internal stakeholders
Responsible for actuarial liabilities review & booking and Spring Reporting
Prepare the accounts committee meetings & detailed BS review meetings
Ensure detailed analysis and explanation of BS & P&L analytical variation has been provided to MCO A2R Head and CFO during monthly/quarterly closing
Contribute and support SK MCO in local & global projects as needed
2. Tax Accounts and Tax Compliance/Audit:
Ensure timely filing of Income tax returns
Ensure proper indirect tax computation, control and timely filing (VAT, VAT recovery, Withholding tax, other indirect Tax)
All inputs needed from accounting standpoint for annual tax audit need to be provided for by A2R Head, primary responsibility for Tax Audit will remain with the Head of Tax.
3. Team management:
Ability to give visibility and communicate on strategy & organizational changes
Manage talent and succession planning as well as attrition rate and hiring process
Ensures proper team development & training according to their development plan
About you
Experience: Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in Finance/Accounts to Report in an international, multicultural, complex environment
Soft skills:
Strong business partnering with ability to understand and meet key stakeholders’ requirements
Team player, cooperating with direct and remote teams with an end-to-end service delivery mindset
Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks and processes
Ability to motivate the team to deliver high quality service
Strong communication skills and ability to drive change
Technical skills:
Knowledge of IFRS & local GAAPs
Strong understanding of the end-to-end A2R processes, and statutory/tax requirements

Expert level knowledge of A2R processes at transaction level:
Asset Accounting Management
Tax & Interco accounting
Treasury
Financial closing and reporting
Ability to drive a compliance culture and rigor
Hands-on experience of SAP and satellite tools (Blackline)
Digital acumen to leverage IT to drive process simplification
Education: Undergraduate or Master’s degree in finance or accounting. CPA/CA is a plus
Languages: Fluent in English & Korean
