Therapeutic Area Specialist (Resp/NP)

  • Location: Østerbro, Denmark
  • Job type: Permanent, Full time
  • Externally focused field-based role covering all of Denmark. Therefore, travelling is expected in order to visit and engage with HCPs/KOLs across the country as well as attending scientific events; Having a network of customers within therapeutic area is preferred; Travelling also required for internal country, Nordic or NE meetings

In Sanofi Specialty Care North Europe we want to improve people’s lives and transform the practice of medicines by ensuring that our treatments in Hematology, Oncology, Rare Diseases, Neurology, Rare Blood disorders and Immunology reach the patients in the markets we serve. As a team we focus on both our transformation and our people to be successful in achieving this ambition in the current external environment.

In this role you drive the commercial success of the treatments within Immunology as to CRSwNP in Denmark.

Main responsibilities:

  • Build strong relationships with KOLs and key customers to create long-term partnerships and identify customer needs
  • Have a customer centric and personalized engagement approach to drive disease awareness and sales
  • Execute’ personalized customer journeys for key customers and centers, leveraging data and insights collected to determine the next best action
  • Monitor and analyze market dynamics, market potential and competitive situation
  • Responsible for targeting and segmentation of key customers
  • Work with market access and with HCPs to remove barriers to prescription at the account/regional level
  • Run and define relevant local projects/co-creation projects
  • Stay up-dated on national/regional market access processes affecting access to product portfolio
  • Close collaboration with local market access team to support market access activities
  • Collaborate and proactive participation in brand teams to provide bottom-up input on needs, share insights and learnings, as well as leverage global and NE materials, resources, campaigns, and initiatives that support and drive customer engagement
  • Adhere to the policies, standard operating procedures and regulations both from a Country and Sanofi perspective to maintain the highest standard of compliance, ethics and business integrity
  • Continuously stretch yourself to improve, simplify and prioritize within your area of influence with a laser focus on adding value

Technical skill

  • Relevant experience in pharmaceutical sales with specialty care portfolio

  • Deep understanding of customers and accounts
  • Requires deep understanding of TA, product(s) and competitor landscape
