About the Job

The Head of Franchise Operations & Strategy - Oncology will be a key thought partner to the General Manager, supporting the Oncology Business Unit in strategic planning, operational excellence, and internal communication and engagement. This role will lead and manage critical franchise operations and programs while ensuring the BU runs efficiently and interacts effectively with all stakeholders.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning and Execution:

  • Oversee the strategic business planning and budget process for the BU (Budget / C1 / C2, LRP, Strategic plan).

  • Manage the annual brand planning and Annual Budget Plan (ABP) process across the portfolio.

  • Marketing and Communications:

  • Lead internal communications strategy, oversee and coordinate the Franchise calendar.

  • Oversee the deployment of internal communication channels and messages.

  • Internal events:

  • Serve as the lead for major internal events such as POA, and key field meetings (e.g. launch meetings)

  • Congress and KOL Management:

  • Serve as U.S. commercial lead for international/national congresses (e.g., ASCO, ASH, NCCN, ONS) and regional congresses.

  • Lead development of KOL engagement and executive leader schedules during major congresses.

  • Oversee the identification, approval, and processing of sponsorships for societies and associations.

  • Operational Excellence:

  • Provide operational and project management support to the US GM.

  • Coordinate and lead regular leadership team meetings in conjunction with the GM.

  • Drive culture initiatives and related workstreams throughout the franchise.

  • Liaise with franchise operations counterparts across Specialty Care North America to share best practices and align/coordinate activities as appropriate.

  • Lead special projects and initiatives to strengthen the franchise

  • Compliance and Team Management:

  • Serve as lead for all compliance and privacy-related deliverables on behalf of the BU.

About You

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree in Marketing or Life Sciences preferred.

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in marketing, operations, or related fields in pharmaceutical/biotech industry.

  • Strong project management expertise.

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Knowledge expertise in the field of Oncology preferred.

  • Experience in developing innovative marketing strategies and managing large-scale, complex projects.

  • Ability to think strategically and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

The salary range for this position is:

$148,125.00 - $213,958.33

All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs. Additional benefits information can be found through the LINK.
