During the first year after the creation of Business Operations we have mainly concentrated on centralizing activities, building scale and standing foundations for Sanofi’s transformation. Now, we enter a new chapter that focuses on value creation by standardizing and harmonizing critical processes across the enterprise, reducing fragmentation, simplifying and modernizing our ways of working.
The role of “Value realization” Manager is responsible for providing a strategic support on business case and risk management with a key focus on achieving intended value outcomes in terms of centralization of fragmented activities and modernization of operations while ensuring transition risks are monitored and mitigated.
Main responsibilities
Provide strategic support on Business cases & Change request
- Update business cases, manage change requests
- Set templates, support business leaders in challenging change requests linked to transitions, etc
- Navigates group and organizational dynamics including identifying issues that may impact project outcomes and effectively works to resolve conflict leading through roadblocks and escalating in a timely manner to ensure no surprises
- Build and maintain a strong working relationship with business and functions, including key leadership Teams
Risk management business partner
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with transition projects
- Define & monitor action plan along with Tower & transition team
Value realization monitoring
- Create and maintain transition dashboards and progress reports for senior leadership
- Collect and analyze transition data, generate transition performance reports and metrics for different stakeholders
- Develop and implement value realization frameworks to measure and maximize transition outcomes
- Ensure delivery of multiple transition projects aligned with the transition methodology, on time, on budget
- Monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to transition plans as needed
- Regularly and effectively communicate project and team status throughout the organization levels on progress, issues, and opportunities
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with the change management teams to ensure right narrative and messages are delivered consistently
- Build and maintain a strong working relationship with business and functions, including key leadership Teams
Leadership & Communication
- Provide strong leadership throughout transformation process, inspiring and motivating teams
- Provide effective communication, both upward to senior leadership and downward to employees
- Articulate a clear and compelling vision of change
About you
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, science, or a related field (master’s degree preferred)
- Proven track record of at least 10 years in driving successful business outcomes
- Strong understanding of transformation and design thinking methodologies, change management practices, project management principles, and continuous improvement
- Leadership skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams by navigating complexity in a matrixed and international environment
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Analytical mindset and strategic thinking, with the ability to quickly ramp-up on complex business challenges and identify innovative solutions
- Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes
- High proficiency in English is mandatory due to the exposition to global activities and teams
