About the role
We are looking for a results-driven and collaborative Product Owner to lead the strategy, development, and operations of our global Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Discovery ecosystem in ServiceNow. This role is essential to ensuring data quality, configuration governance, and operational visibility across Sanofi's complex IT landscape.
As the Product Owner for ServiceNow Platforms Configuration and Data Management, you will own and evolve a critical foundation of Sanofi’s Digital & IT operations. You will guide a team of experts and partner with cross-functional stakeholders to build scalable solutions aligned with the Common Service Data Model (CSDM), driving data excellence and supporting key initiatives across Application Portfolio Management (APM), ITOM, and ITSM.
Key Responsibilities
Own the CMDB & Discovery Product Roadmap: Define, prioritize, and deliver capabilities aligned with strategic programs such as CSDM, APM, ITOM, and cloud transformation.
Lead ServiceNow CSDM Implementation: Drive adoption of the Common Service Data Model across all relevant ServiceNow domains.
Ensure Data Integrity and Compliance: Establish standards, controls, and KPIs for configuration data quality across business applications, infrastructure, and services.
Drive Automation and Service Integration: Promote automation and standardized catalog items to improve efficiency, reduce manual work, and enhance service data accuracy.
Lead a High-Performing Team: Manage and mentor a global team of developers and data specialists. Define priorities, remove blockers, and foster continuous improvement.
Act as Trusted Advisor: Collaborate with key stakeholders in Digital, Infrastructure, Operations, and Compliance to ensure ServiceNow supports evolving business needs.
Enhance Platform Capabilities: Continuously evaluate and improve ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and CMDB-related modules in partnership with vendors and internal architects.
Ensure Strategic Alignment: Partner with Enterprise Architecture, IT Strategy, and Process Owners to ensure the CMDB supports strategic use cases and innovation.
About You
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a ServiceNow ITOM, covering complex environments with Discovery, Service Mapping and Event Management.
Experience implementing and / or administrating ServiceNow ITAM for Software and Hardware Asset Management,
Master in CMDB and CSDM, and proven experiences with Data Qualitity and Integrations.
Motivated to learn and grow in ServiceNow space
Able to work in Gllobal environment
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
