About the job
As Global Market Access & Strategic Pricing Specialist VIE within our Market Access team, you will support all global access and pricing activities for the Gaucher and Fabry lysosomal storage disease products. This includes already launch products, competitive entry plan, and an upcoming multi-indication launch product. Ready to get started?
Global Value & Pricing for Specialty Care is based at the division headquarters 450 Water Street, Cambridge, Massachusetts. Global Value & Pricing is responsible for pricing and access conditions for our products in all markets. Global Value & Pricing sets pricing policy, approves prices changes, plans for competitive entry, set launch sequence for new launches, develops payer value stories, payer objection handlers, and conducts mock negotiations.
In Specialty Care, you’ll help deliver breakthrough treatments that bring hope to patients with some of the highest unmet needs.

Main responsibilities:
- Coordinate launch tracking actives all wave 1 markets and cross function global support.
- Support the development of Payer Value Messaging and Payer Objection Handers for launch.
- Partner with affiliate market teams in the development of price dossiers, and prepare for launch by refining market access and pricing strategies through collaboration with Health Economics and Values Assessment (HEVA) colleagues to support payer needs.
- Update and maintain resources for markets. Manage monthly Max touchpoints with affiliates.
- Set the agenda for biweekly team meeting & track key deliverables (all net price approvals, price / patient, key issues).
- Responsible for regular HEVA calls, taking minutes & following up on action items.
- Monitor the marketplace for access issues, threats & opportunities, particularly regarding rare diseases, and perform thorough research as appropriate, and prepare analog assessments for Gaucher and Fabry access.
About you
Experience:
- Understanding of pricing & reimbursement processes in at least one key European market (i.e. EU5)
- Knowledge of market access specifics for rare disease therapies is a plus.
- Experience supporting the development of a Health Technology Assessment (HTA) dossier for a rare disease is a plus.
Soft and Technical skills:
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to plan/organize the work & tasks and to work within tight timelines.
- Strong sense of responsibility.
- Demonstrates positive attitude, proactive, embraces team spirit and comfortable with dynamic environment.
- Demonstrates relationship building at all levels of the organization and across geographies.
- Exhibits outstanding written and oral communication skills.
- Quick learner who can synthesize information and come up with creative solutions.
Education:
- Master’s degree in Market Access and/or Health Economics would be preferred.
Languages:
- Fluent English (written and verbal).
