We are looking for an intern to join our Industrial Affairs, Technical Services department and be a project team member in the Engineering Project Management Group. The intern will contribute to the creation of a Site Master Plan and assist with the completion of various small engineering supporting Vaccines Manufacturing. The scope of this project will be diverse and cover several engineering disciplines and topics including but not limited to: HVAC, Process/Mechanical Piping, Building/Site Utilities and Manufacturing Equipment.
The Intern will benefit from mentoring, coaching and side-by-side work with knowledgeable and experienced experts in the field. Candidates will receive hands on learning experience on how process and mechanical systems; components and sub-systems operate and function in an operating GMP manufacturing and research facility. They will learn how to read and interpret technical drawings, engineering specifications and schematics which can be applied to future career opportunities.
The candidate will receive GMP training required to operate within a manufacturing facility, including various GMP and or GXP systems in order to complete their assignments.

Main Responsibilities:
• As a member of the project team, contribute to the Site Master Plan by completing assigned tasks based on the project plan.
• Complete engineering tasks: HVAC, Process/Mechanical Piping, Building/Site Utilities and Manufacturing Equipment.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, engineering specifications and schematics.
• Learn how to manage mechanical systems; components and sub-systems in an operating GMP manufacturing and research facility.
About You
Basic Qualifications:
Currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor's degree in in chemical, mechanical or related engineering field at an accredited college or university with the expectation that you will complete your current degree by the Spring of 2028.
Must be enrolled in school the semester following your internship/co-op with Sanofi.
Must be able to relocate to the office location and work 40hrs/week, Monday-Friday, for the full duration of the co-op/internship.
Must be permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future. Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually require future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
Good knowledge of the MS Office package, Teams, and SharePoint
Good documentation skills
Good analytical, technical and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail
Working independently, being flexible and eager to learn
High level of commitment
Experience with CAD software a plus.
