Pharmacovigilance Trainee (PV Trainee)

As a Pharmacovigilance Trainee, you will report directly to the Country Safety Head (CSH) for Portugal and support the local safety team in a variety of activities, including case management, implementation of Risk Management Plans at the local level, safety signal detection, and website monitoring. You will be accountable for ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company standards related to the safety management of products registered in Portugal. In addition, you will assist the CSH with safety-related tasks across the Sanofi portfolio, gaining valuable experience in a regulated and impactful environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Adverse Drug Reactions/Adverse Drug Events;

• Periodic Reports;

• Risk Management Plans;

• Product Safety Alerts;

• Safety questions raised by local Health Authorities and Health Care Professionals;

• PV requirements in Digital Marketing Projects/Market Research Projects;

• Local Health Authorities’ website monitoring;

• Local labeling review (safety sections);

• Reconciliation of local SDEA and local product lines;

• Inspection readiness;

• Completing all assigned training within the required timelines.

About You

To excel in this role you will need to have:

• Educational background in Pharmacy or Biology;

• Healthcare professional background (pharmacy, other);

• Appropriate proficiency in English (written and verbal) and Portuguese;

• Interpersonal skills of diplomacy and team player dynamics;

• Knowledge of and respect for cultural differences;

• Professionalism and arbitration;

• Ability to work in international and transversal teams;

• Computer package knowledge;

• Ability to sign an internship agreement/Educational Cooperation Agreement with your educational institution.

Advanced Spanish language skills will be a plus.
