What you will be doing:

We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Operations Manager Talent Management to join our Chief Talent Office. This role is essential for developing and implementing strategies within the Talent Management global function in order to make it more agile, data-driven, and aligned with Sanofi’s growth objectives. This key role oversees and optimizes our talent practices, ensuring that we retain and develop talent effectively while delivering the best-in-class people centric experience. In this role, you will, with your team, contribute to develop near and long-term talent innovation strategies to ensure Sanofi remains competitive with constantly evolving talent needs and external talent marketplace demands. This role collaborates closely with partners across regions and functions, such as the Talent Office, Employer Branding, Legal, Rewards and Performance, Digital, People and Culture, People Services. The role is part of the Talent Operations leadership team and reports into the Global Head of Talent Operations.

Key Responsibilities

The Candidate and Employee’s Experience will be embedded seamlessly in every operation solution design and implementation. You will collaborate closely with the Capability, Career Hub, Process and Technology teams in order to deliver a positive experience from candidates’ application to employees’ promotion.

Talent Strategy and Execution

• Design, optimize and implement operations across Talent Management, reducing manual steps, increasing efficiency and automation in order to enhance overall user’s experience that will support the business successful transformation

• Manage the daily operations of Talent Management programs, from employee performance management to succession planning and ensure that they are executed consistently and effectively

• In collaboration with the TMLT, Talent Management Process Lead and the Talent Operations team globally, continuously evaluate, identify Talent Management process and systems improvements opportunities to enhance efficiency, employees’ experience, and development strategies. Support the new global processes and any solutions implementation.

• Oversee the global implementation, usage, optimization and maintenance of the technology systems related to talent management, ensuring they meet users and operational needs. Drive harmonization, simplification and implementation of all Talent Management systems, including Workday, CRM and perform periodic controls across the globe while keeping the customer needs in mind. Collaborate with People and Campus Digital, People Services, Business Operations and any relevant team to implement system updates, troubleshoot and resolve issues. Perform periodic controls for continuous improvements evolution

• Collaborate with senior leadership to understand workforce needs and plan accordingly

Identify and implement feedback mechanisms for gathering candidates and employee feedback and assessing talent solutions effectiveness.

Partner with TM leaders to ensure that the operating model delivers as per the standard talent management process, SLAs and KPIs

· Cross-Functional Collaboration - Work closely with multiple stakeholders to ensure Talent Operations align seamlessly with organizational goals and provide guidance on talent best practices. Leads and participates in global (and occasionally regional) projects and program initiatives. Leads Talent Operations Community by organizing, attending and presenting on various Talent CoE led meetings. Act as a point of contact for talent-related operational matters.

Compliance & Best practices

• Procedures and compliance management per country- identify key opportunities for compliance improvements and collaborate with the Process Manager to implement solutions, within Sanofi and with our external partners.

• Implement the Legal Fiscal and Regulatory requirements per country that require exceptions to Global Processes

• Best Practices - Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in talent management to maintain a competitive edge. Pursue external knowledge of industry trends, benchmarks & opportunities to further advance innovations.

Metrics and reporting

· Collaborate with People Analytics to support the collection, analysis, and reporting of recruitment metrics to drive data-informed decision-making and continuous improvement. Leverage employee/customer/data insights to drive prioritized service, process, and technology solutions to further enhance global service delivery.

  • Use data to monitor program success and provide actionable insights.

  • Partner with TM leaders to ensure that the standard talent management processes support the talent operating model SLAs and KPIs.

Vendor and Budget management

• Manage budgets related to talent operations, ensuring efficient allocation of resources

• Manage the operational relationship with external suppliers to ensure cost-effective and high-quality service delivery

Knowledge and Capability Building

• Training and Support - Develop and conduct trainings when required on talent management solutions, in collaboration with the Capability team

• Change Management - Collaborate with the Change Management Lead to implement systems, process changes by communicating effectively with stakeholders and ensuring smooth transitions. Provide coaching and support to local operations owners. and culture to foster a data-driven mindset within the team. Improve communication to boost engagement and responsiveness to employee needs

• Support communication and business updates across CTO

Project Management

Lead and manage projects related to Talent operations, such as implementing new tools, supporting employee development initiatives. Develop project plans, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.

Requirements

• Strong project management skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously with a will-do attitude

Excellent problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to identify and resolve challenges in a collaborative way

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization in a clear, concise and diplomatic manner, along with connecting with all partners in a fast growing and changing organization

• Experience with inspiring people, with the ability to set direction and deliver impact, determining what is important and urgent, clarifying next steps, and delegating effectively to meet deadlines and achieve desired results

• Multi-cultural understanding and adaptability

Strong understanding of Talent Management programs and HR operations in a large or complex organizational setting

Affinity with IT environments, Ai and use of Talent technology: Workday, Beamery, Hirevue and business intelligence tools

• Advanced MS Office skills (especially PowerPoint and Excel), PowerBI is an advantage

• Experience with advanced HR analytics and talent acquisition and management metrics.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in talent acquisition or operations.

• Certification in Project Management, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.

Fluent level of written and verbal English

Physical Requirements

15% travel required, including international travel.
