As an Automation Intern, you will help support Automation Manufacturing Systems and Infrastructure, while working on the multiple national award-winning Sanofi Waterford biopharmaceutical and medical device campus, which is located in Waterford on Ireland’s southeast coast.

Main responsibilities:

• Support our site Automation projects

• Work in a dynamic team-based environment

• Updating Team & Site documentation

• Assist in the Automation roadmap Project Delivery

• Comply to all Sanofi Automation documentation and participate in policy, procedure, and standards development

• Support the Digital / Automation & IT teams in maintaining hardware and software systems

• Assist with troubleshooting issues and provide technical support

• Contribute to introduction and adoption of new Automation within the company

About you

To excel in this role, you will need to have:

• A degree in progress, ideally in Engineering or Computer Science

• Proficiency in common IT applications, such as Microsoft Office

• A basic understanding of computer networking

• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills

• A solid work ethic and keen attention to detail

• The ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

• Excellent communication skills, with a customer-focused and proactive approach

• The ability to remain calm, confident, and focused under pressure and tight deadlines

• A resourceful and innovative mindset
