Join Sanofi in a pivotal leadership role where you'll shape the future of health, safety, and environmental programs across our Commercial Operations in Spain and Portugal. As HSE Lead Iberia, you'll lead comprehensive HSE initiatives across four administrative sites (2 in Barcelona, 1 in Madrid and 1 in Lisbon) and field forces, including our HUB in Barcelona, driving transformation and fostering a culture of safety excellence.
Lead our HSE transformation journey as you build a culture of safety excellence across Iberia. In this highly visible role, you'll collaborate with executive leadership to shape our HSE strategy, influence key stakeholders at all levels, and drive meaningful risk reduction initiatives. You'll also have the opportunity to share your expertise with our regional HSE network, making an impact beyond our local operations.

Main responsibilities:
Lead and implement the HSE Management System across Iberia Commercial Operations, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements and maintain the ISO 14001 certification
Drive HSE culture transformation through effective change management and strategic leadership of site HSE and Road Safety committees
Develop and maintain comprehensive risk management processes for all sites and field forces, creating and tracking performance improvement plans
Direct health promotion and road safety programs across the organization
Lead emergency readiness and co-lead crisis management programs across all sites
Oversee the Occupational Health Service and collaborate with Workplace Experience to maintain HSE program excellence
Spearhead environmental initiatives including waste management, fleet environmental roadmap, and SIGRE technical committee representation
Manage contractor safety programs and conduct management system audits
As a manager, ensure HSE team performance, inspiring them and working in their development plans.
About you
Bachelor’s degree in Labor science, Environmental Science, Engineering or related discipline. Master's degree in Health and Safety with three specialties: Safety at Work, Industrial Hygiene, and Ergonomics & Psychosociology
Spanish Government accreditation as Senior Technician in Occupational Risk Prevention
A minimum of 5 years’ experience as HSE Manager and responsible of an internal H&S service.
Experience managing HSE programs in multinational environments with multiple sites
Strong background in environmental management and sustainability initiatives
Proven track record in leading road safety and health promotion programs
Advanced level of English and Spanish required
Outstanding communication and influencing skills at all organizational levels
Strategic thinking with ability to drive transformation and manage change
