The Finance Business Partner supports strategic decision-making and performance analysis for the US Dermatology Commercial team including the General Manager and their leadership team. The successful candidate will be a proactive, analytical, and business-minded finance leader who thrives in a matrixed environment and partners effectively across Marketing, Go-To-Market-Capabilities, Field Sales, Patient Support Services, Market Access, and Procurement. This role involves preparing and reporting financial and non-financial data, managing budgets and forecasts, and ensuring data quality, compliance, and adherence to internal controls.

Main Responsibilities

Strategic Business Partnership

  • Serve as a strategic business partner to the US Dermatology Commercial team, delivering insightful performance reporting and guiding budget and forecast processes.
  • Evaluate operating expense investments in the context of brand lifecycle, resource allocation decisions, and performance drivers.

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Manage rolling forecasts and budget submissions, including template creation, TM1 system inputs, data validation, report generation, and presentation development.
  • Analyze actual performance and communicate key drivers of variances to business and finance stakeholders.
  • Prepare and manage month-end reports including P&Ls, OpEx, variance analysis, and detailed project expense reports for internal and Alliance use.

Reporting & Close Operations

  • Own the month-end close process, including calendar coordination, data collection, accrual journal entries, and timely reporting to Corporate FP&A, Accounting, and Shared Services.

Process Optimization & Systems Expertise

  • Act as a subject matter expert on financial systems (SAP, TM1, Procurement), maintaining cost center hierarchies, generating reports, and ensuring data integrity.
  • Leverage AI-driven analytics to track sales and operating expense trends, detect anomalies, and enhance the precision of financial forecasts.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Support the US and Global Finance Teams with complex, cross-functional, ad-hoc projects and requests.
  • Act as liaison between Sanofi and Regeneron finance teams, fostering transparency and consistency in financial reporting, forecasting, and expense tracking.

About You

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimal of 5 years of experience in business finance, strong analytical skills, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close, with a focus on financial analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree required, (Accounting or Finance preferred not required)
  • Strong accounting skills and understanding of internal controls.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex organizational environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred

  • CPA or MBA
  • Experience with TM1 Cognos and SAP
  • Industry-related experience

The salary range for this position is:

$125,250.00 - $180,916.66
