The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager – Specialty Care NA will serve as the strategic financial partner to the Head of Finance – Specialty Care NA and the cross-functional leadership team. This role is accountable for managing all aspects of actuals, budget, and forecast cycles for the Specialty Care NA business unit, in close collaboration with Global FP&A, NA Finance Business Partners (FBPs), Finance Operations, and expert functions.

The FP&A Manager will provide actionable financial insights through reporting, analysis, and performance management, ensuring sound investment decisions and sustainable portfolio growth. This position requires a proactive, analytical, and business-oriented leader who thrives in a matrixed environment and builds effective partnerships across Global Finance, Regional Leaders, and Centers of Excellence. Additionally, this role is responsible for maintaining financial integrity across platforms, leveraging business intelligence, and enabling AI-driven insights.

Main Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary FP&A point of contact for Specialty Care NA, consolidating and reporting financial results across the business unit.

  • Manage preparation of monthly GBU reporting packages for Global FP&A in collaboration with FBPs, GTN COE, and OPEX COE.

  • Act as the central liaison with Global FP&A and Group Controlling on financial performance (sales, OPEX, headcount), working directly with US Finance teams to address inquiries and proactively challenge results.

  • Finance Business Partnering on adhoc basis for new products for a transition period.

  • Analyze and interpret financial indicators to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, supporting more accurate forecasting.

  • Maintain and consolidate the Risks & Opportunities (R&O) framework in partnership with Specialty Care NA FBPs.

  • Drive process improvements in reporting, forecasting, and planning cycles by promoting LEAN/continuous improvement initiatives and leveraging technology.

  • Ensure alignment with global financial timelines and requirements, managing local calendars for IBP, C1, C2, Budget, and Strategic Plan cycles.

  • Prepare high-quality presentations for senior leadership, integrating outputs from BOOST TM1 and Plai.

  • Build strong relationships across FBPs and Finance Operations to enhance understanding of P&L evolution.

  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and cross-functional project support.

About You

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Accounting, Finance, or related field); advanced credentials such as MBA or CPA strongly preferred.

  • Minimum 3+ years FP&A and business partnership expertise.

  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, macros, data analysis); SAP, Hyperion, or similar systems experience preferred.

  • Pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience strongly desired.

The salary range for this position is:

$108,750.00 - $157,083.33
