Frexalimab is one of Sanofi’s top 12 priority assets, and 1 of 3 with a communicated ambition of €5B+ across its indications.

Frexalimab (SAR441344) is a potentially first-in-class anti-CD40L antibody that blocks the costimulatory CD40/CD40L pathway which is important for activation and function of adaptive (T and B cells) and innate (macrophages/microglia and dendritic cells) immunity. Through this unique upstream mechanism of action, frexalimab has the potential to address both acute and chronic neuroinflammation in MS, without causing lymphocyte depletion. Frexalimab is currently being studied in RRMS, SPMS, T1D and SLE.

The role’s primary responsibility will be to lead the development and execution of innovative brand marketing strategies and tactics that will differentiate Frexalimab in MS, to create a best-in-class experience for all stakeholders. This position reports to the GBL Frexalimab and leads the development and execution of the MS strategy for Frexalimab. The Global Indication Lead Frexalimab MS will work with the Global Brand Lead to establish and run the Frexalimab MS GBT, partnering with cross functional stakeholders and country partners.

In the future, the Indication lead Frexalimab MS will lead a team of marketing professionals. This role has the potential to evolve to an L5 level in the future, as the asset evolves and the team develops.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the successful development and execution of the global Frexalimab MS marketing strategy, to support ongoing worldwide country launches

  • Co-leadership of the Frexalimab MS Global Brand Team partnering across key functions and in partnership with launch countries, leading key aspects of Global launch plan development and ensuring alignment of local launch plans

  • Develop global positioning, branding guidelines, core messages and campaign execution tools (including digital/multichannel)

  • Lead the annual Frexalimab MS Global Brand plan process

  • Lead Frexalimab business case guidance document development & process to assess business cases with markets

  • Differentiate from competition and support development of high-impact, global patient-focused strategy and tactical initiatives to drive a best-in-class brand experience for all frexalimab MS customers

  • Solicit ongoing input from priority countries/regions, and provide clear direction on local country frexalimab MS implementation

  • Engage external MS stakeholders to ensure strategy includes customer insights

  • Co-develop the Frexalimab MS brand strategy in partnership with cross-functional colleagues, to ensure aligned objectives and tactical implementation across the broader team, including alignment & partnership with tolebrutinib team

  • Monitor and support Frexalimab MS country launch readiness and launch performance

  • Work in partnership with the GBL Frexalimab to ensure consistency, where required, for select brand elements across all Frexalimab indications (e.g. communication elements)

  • Manage annual budgets, ensuring strategic allocation of funds and monthly tracking

  • Lead the selection of the agency of record and lead ongoing management of the advertising agency partner and other vendors to ensure execution towards objectives

  • In future- Attract, develop, and retain talent to foster a best in class global Frexaliamb marketing team

About You

Experience Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, marketing or business required

  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in product/brand management, sales management and/or strategic marketing

  • Experience in US & international marketing (non-U.S.) within a complex, global commercial pharmaceutical or biotechnology organization

  • Strong Global HCP marketing background with expertise in execution across all channels

  • In-depth understanding of the MS market, and external expert network

  • Product launch experience in specialty care/biologics

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional groups, made up of the following: Marketing, Sales, R&D, Medical Affairs, Market Research, Finance, Forecasting, Launch Excellence etc.

  • Comfortable leading in a matrix environment without direct authority

  • Line management/team leadership experience

  • Proven ability to work across different countries and different cultures

  • Experience managing an advertising agency and related budgets

Preferred Qualifications

  • Second degree, e.g. MBA, PhD, M.Sc.

The salary range for this position is:

$202,500.00 - $292,500.00
