As SOX Control Specialist you will be part of a newly created organization, the Assurance Tower, that provides compliance-related support primarily (but not limited to) Global Finance Services. You will work together with the first lines of defense by performing continuous checks for completeness, accuracy, and documentation of SOX controls.

Main responsibilities:
Test and Verify Controls: Conduct sample testing and walkthroughs to ensure internal controls are working effectively and teams are prepared for audits
Support Documentation and Compliance: Help process owners implement and document required controls, ensuring timely completion of testing and reporting
Prevent and Resolve Issues: Work with teams to identify potential control failures early, analyze root causes, and develop sustainable solutions to prevent recurrence
Escalate Critical Concerns: Report significant compliance issues to senior specialists to ensure proper oversight and resolution
Enable Consistent Processes: Partner with teams across different locations to establish standardized reporting and control procedures
Provide Guidance and Interpretation: Help colleagues understand compliance requirements and translate complex regulations into practical, actionable steps
Recommend Improvements: Identify opportunities to strengthen the control environment and enhance overall compliance effectiveness
About you
Process Control Experience: Background in internal controls or compliance testing, particularly in regulated business environments
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong ability to analyze processes, identify improvements, and develop practical solutions while maintaining attention to detail
Collaborative Leadership: Experience partnering with diverse stakeholders across global teams to implement controls and drive process improvements
Business Software Proficiency: Comfortable using standard business applications to analyze data and document processes
Communication Skills: Strong English language proficiency for effective global collaboration and documentation
Education: Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or related field
