Our Team:
The FLU/PMED Franchise is one of the 3 Franchises of the Vaccines GBU and covers the porfolio of Influenza, Pneumococus, Meningo, Endemic diseases and Dengue. This team works closely with medical, market access, sales, commercial and many other transversal teams to maximize the impact of brands in the Mexican healthcare system, both in the public and private sectors.
The FLU/PMED Brand Lead is responsible for leading the brand strategy and tactical execution for FLU/PMED products portfolio in the LATAM MCO. This role drives business through the development and implementation of integrated marketing plans, ensuring the achievement of commercial objectives and competitive positioning of products in our diverse LATAM pharmaceutical markets.
Main responsibilities:
• Develop and execute annual brand strategic plans aligned with LATAM regional objectives, including positioning, value proposition, and differentiated messaging for target segments in the Latam markets.
• Manage P&L and marketing budget (A&P) to achieve commercial objectives including sales targets, market share growth, and ROI optimization across all marketing investments.
• In collaboration with the Customer Engagement Leads, design and implement integrated marketing campaigns including promotional materials, sales tools, and omnichannel strategies adapted to the market needs.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Sales, and Supply Chain teams to ensure aligned execution of brand strategies and optimal product availability during critical seasonal periods.
• With Customer Engagement Leads, coordinate promotional activities and field execution including medical congresses, HCP education programs, KOL engagement, and sales force training to drive brand adoption.
• Monitor brand performance and market dynamics, competitive intelligence, and market research to identify opportunities and optimize strategies.
• Ensure regulatory compliance for all marketing activities and materials, managing COFEPRIS approvals and adhering to pharmaceutical industry ethical codes and internal policies.
• Manage external partnerships and strategic alliances with medical societies to enhance brand reach and credibility.
• Drive seasonal demand generation through pre-seasonal awareness campaigns, pharmacy activation strategies, and public sector engagement during peak periods.
• Provide strategic input for new product launches, pricing decisions, market access strategies, and forecasting based on market insights and brand performance.
About you:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing
• Advanced english
• Proven track record in developing and implementing successful brand strategies
• Experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Understanding of the vaccine market
• Demonstrated ability to analyze market data and translate insights into actionable strategies
• Experience in digital marketing and omnichannel campaign management
• Proficiency in budget management and ROI analysis
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Spanish
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulations and compliance requirements in Mexico (e.g., COFEPRIS)
