About the Job

The Material Planner plays a key role in ensuring supply chain efficiency. Their task is to plan the accurate and timely availability of raw materials and components based on production needs, thereby supporting a smooth manufacturing process and customer satisfaction.

Main responsibilities:

• Material requirements planning (MRP) based on production forecasts and orders
• Liaising with suppliers, managing orders, coordinating delivery deadlines
• Optimizing inventory levels, inventory management
• Monitoring supplier performance and effective problem-solving
• Continuous cooperation with production planning, purchasing, logistics and warehouse
• Preparing reports and statements on stocks, order status
• Participation in projects and process improvements

Expectations:

• Higher education degree (logistics, economics or technical field is an advantage)
• Professional experience is not required
• SAP (or other ERP system) knowledge is an advantage
• Intermediate Excel skills
• Intermediate English knowledge
• Fluency in Hungarian is a must
• Good problem-solving skills, proactive attitude
• Precision, organizational skills, good team player
