As Regional Public Affairs Manager within our Public Affairs Team, you’ll
serve as Sanofi's strategic representative in the Italian regional healthcare landscape, accountable for developing and executing comprehensive public affairs strategies - in synergy with the National Public Affairs Leads and in accordance with the Public Affairs Plan - to advance the company's policy and business priorities and ultimately to enhance its reputation, through innovative activities.

Main responsibilities
Policy Analysis: Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on regional legislative initiatives and policy trends, reimbursement decisions, and regulatory developments that may impact on Sanofi areas of interest.
Stakeholder Engagement: Establishing and nurturing productive relationships with key regional stakeholders including regional health authorities, local government officials, healthcare provider organizations, patient advocacy groups, and professional associations such as FIMP, FIMG and FederFarma.
Strategic Advocacy: Identifying/anticipating policy opportunities as well as potential challenges at regional levels, developing ad hoc tailored approaches to establish a constructive dialogue with regional healthcare decision-makers regarding Sanofi's therapeutic areas and business objectives.
Cross-functional Leadership: Working closely with clinical study unit, communication, medical, market access, marketing, and commercial teams to educate about the evolution of external political environment and public affairs opportunities in supporting broader patient access to innovation in line with business goals.
Crisis Management: Providing strategic counsel during public affairs challenges, helping to protect and enhance Sanofi's reputation through effective communication and stakeholder management.
About you
Experience: Should ideally have five or more years of working experience in healthcare either in pharma company or public affairs consultancy agencies, Proven experience in building and managing an extensive network of Stakeholders; Solid track record in elaborate and execute multistakeholder projects.
Soft and technical skills: Political acumen and deep-knowledge of the regional environment; Ability to identify and segment decision-makers and other relevant stakeholders; Strategic thinking and planning; Cross-functional collaboration with other Sanofi functions; Problem-solving and analytical skills; Communication and negotiation skills.
Education: Should ideally hold a Politic Science, Economics, Communication or Scientific degree; a master’s degree in healthcare management/policy will be an additional advantage.
Languages: Italian as mother tongue, fluent in English.
