Job Title: Data Steward

The Data Steward plays a critical operational role in ensuring the integrity, accessibility, and quality of Master Data across site systems. This position supports data governance by managing the full data lifecycle, facilitating accurate and timely data usage, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in data management practices.

Main Responsibilities

  • Defines and structures the documentation to support Master Data creation / modification / deactivation workflows (process & tools) to secure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of Master Data.

  • Supports the DCOs preparing the Master Data extraction to secure business meetings efficiency (e.g.: capability review, industrial plan, MPS meetings).

  • Guarantees the level of awareness, comprehension, training and availability of the DCO network.

  • Proposes workflows optimization and automation to DPM & corresponding BPOs to increase Master Data management and performance.

  • Master Data quality.

  • DS analyses any Master Data quality deviation and proposes mitigation plan to DPM and corresponding BPOs.

  • DS produces monthly Master Data KPIs (Completeness, Accuracy, Timeliness), to be integrated in site’s performance review process through the DPM.

  • In case the site is not equipped with integrated workflow systems, the DS is responsible for data entry.

  • Data Steward contribution to projects.

  • The DPM oversees prioritizing Data Steward project contribution according to their capacity load.

  • Impact analyses on new projects to come on the site.

  • Contributes to project implementation (simulation, test, validation )

  • Above site activities.

  • Participates in Master Data cross-site community to share best practices and gives insights to enhance Master Data Playbook and Standards.

About You

Education / Experience

  • Associates degree, bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Computer sciences or related areas - Preferred.

  • A combination of education and experience will be considered.

  • 1+ years of experience with Master Data.

  • Demonstrated ability to ensure data accuracy and completeness.

  • Basic proficiency in SAP or equivalent ERP system.

  • Experience contributing to cross-functional or cross-site data governance initiatives.

  • Proven ability to support or lead data-related projects, including simulations, testing, and validation.

  • Experience in training and supporting Data Coordinator networks or similar roles.

  • Demonstrated involvement in continuous improvement initiatives focused on data quality and timeliness.

  • Participation in communities of practice or forums related to Master Data Management (MDM).

  • Familiarity with Master Data Playbooks, standards, and best practices.

  • Knowledge of workflow automation tools or process optimization techniques.

  • Ability to analyze the impact of new projects on Master Data and propose mitigation strategies.

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques to identify and resolve data quality issues.

  • Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies applied to data processes.

The salary range for this position is:

$74.250,00 - $123.750,00
