Job Purpose
The Demand Manager is the focal point of franchise management in markets for IBP (integrated Business Planning) topics, as well a team leader for local roles handling demand planning processes at the markets in scope.
Lead the market level IBP process to align stakeholders on one business plan containing various assumptions/scenarios and work closely with Demand Leads and Demand Planners to ensure accurate data to reflect business needs and constraints.
The position includes a wide range of tasks related to the planning activities in the market such as product launches, regulatory and commercial topics. The Demand Manager is accountable for ensuring that these elements are properly coordinated locally and reflected in planning tools.

Main responsibilities:
IBP Process Leadership
Lead and align key stakeholders through the monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process to ensure accurate demand forecasting as a basis for manufacturing and supply planning
Oversee all 5 IBP steps: Product Portfolio Management, Demand Review, Supply Review, Integrated Reconciliation, and Management Business Review (MBR)
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Alignment
Partner with Demand Planners, Business Units, Finance, Regulatory, Quality, and upstream production planners to align on market needs and trends
Act as local point for Global Product Leaders and GBU Supply Chain, participating in Global Product Reviews
Performance Management & KPI Delivery
Deliver on KPI targets (Sales performance, OTIF, MAPE, SPA, Inventory targets, destructions and write-off) through actionable plans
Analyze performance metrics and dashboards to identify improvement opportunities and drive corrective actions
Supply Chain Optimization & Risk Management
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for forecast accuracy and supply chain execution
Lead obsolescence/destructions/returns (ODR) discussions to mitigate inventory provisions
Effectively reduce risks of goods shortage, returns and write-offs
Leadership & Team Management
Lead, coach and develop direct reports through individual development programs
Build a high-performance culture focused on engagement, diversity & inclusion, and talent retention
Ensure business continuity through back-ups and documentation of processes
New Product Launches & Change Management
Ensure accountability for flawless and on-time implementation of new product launches, line extensions, and network changes without supply interruption
Manage compliance standards for all processes and activities
About you

Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, Logistics, or related field, and 4+ years of experience in supply chain/manufacturing industry
English language skills - Intermediate conversational

Preferred Skills/Expertise/Experience:
Team Leadership
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to anticipate future consequences of scenarios and identify mission critical issues
Knowledge of pharmaceutical primary and secondary manufacturing processes
Understanding of manufacturing finances and processes and ability to apply to supply chain management and changes and improvement projects
Basic knowledge of regulatory processes and requirements
Skilled in scenario planning, risk / benefit analysis, contingency planning and problem solving.
Strong willingness to drive change as well as good internal marketing and communication skills.
Ability to motivate and influence resources that do not report directly to incumbent
Excellent systems (SAP and Kinaxis preferred) and project management skills and basic understanding of financial function
Demonstrated high standards of integrity, professionalism, and commitment
Strong team facilitation and relationship building skills
