About the job
As Tender Executive (TE) VIE within our Country Trade team, you’ll drive strategic value through expert tender and contract management across our comprehensive product portfolio, spanning all business units within secondary care, consortia groups, and key procurement bodies. This role is pivotal in revolutionizing our market approach through data-driven decision-making and innovative solutions, as its core impact is:
- Patient-Centred Focus: Ensures timely access to life-changing treatments by optimizing contract implementation and maintaining supply continuity.
- Market Disruption: Pioneers new approaches to tender processes that challenge traditional procurement models and create competitive advantage.
- Leadership Position: Establishes Sanofi as the benchmark for tender excellence through strategic foresight and execution.
You will work cross-functionally with the Tender Manager, Supply Planning, Customer Service, Regulatory teams, GBUs, and supply chain partners, and build powerful stakeholder relationships that drive mutual value. By maintaining optimal contract parameters for pricing, volumes, and timelines, the role directly impacts both business performance and patient outcomes. You will own critical daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly processes, serving as the cornerstone of our tender excellence strategy and directly contributing to our mission of acting for patients through innovative market approaches.

Main responsibilities:
Strategic Tender Process Management:
- Develop comprehensive understanding of tender evaluation methodologies and selection criteria.
- Progressively take ownership of tender documentation preparation and submission quality assurance, build expertise in analysing market intelligence to inform strategic tender decisions, develop skills in maintaining contract pricing accuracy and timeline management.
Financial Operations & Pricing Strategy Innovation:
- Develop expertise in hospital retrospective rebate processes and financial reconciliation.
- Incorporate and develop generative AI technologies in everyday processes.
- Build skills in maintaining pricing integrity across distribution networks and learn to analyse contract performance against financial targets.
Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Development:
- Build and nurture strategic relationships with key procurement decision-makers across NHS bodies and procurement centers, partner with the Tender Manager to drive data-driven decision-making and process optimization.
- Support the development of innovative collaboration models with procurement stakeholders.
- Champion digital innovation to streamline tender and rebate management processes, utilizing generative AI tools to enhance and streamline processes
- Establish best-practice frameworks that set industry standards.
Operational Excellence & Process Innovation:
- Develop expertise in supply chain management principles for pharmaceutical products, monitor and respond to stock management challenges that impact contract fulfilment.
- Support critical business reporting processes, ensuring weekly reporting functions are maintained and deadlines met.
About you
Experience:
- Previous experience related to the position – working with tenders, health authorities, managing contracts, mapping and analysing data, or similar.
Soft and technical skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities - capacity to build effective working relationships across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Professional presentation skills with ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Confidence to engage with senior stakeholders under appropriate supervision.
- Project management capabilities, advanced time management and organisational skills.
- Demonstrates intellectual curiosity and commitment to continuous learning, shows initiative and proactive problem-solving approach.
- Strong numerical aptitude with ability to interpret complex data sets and ability to translate data insights into practical business recommendations.
- Capacity to understand market dynamics and competitive landscapes.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
- Aptitude for learning specialized business systems and digital platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management.
- Ability to quickly master new technical concepts and applications.
Education:
- Master’s Degree in Data Analytics, Business or similar.
Languages:
- Advanced English knowledge.
