The Team: The AI-Driven Customer Engagement (AICE) team is transforming how Sanofi goes to market — redefining what modern marketing looks like. By blending human insight with AI, automation, and data, AICE is building a more intelligent, personalized, and efficient engagement model.
Role Overview: The Paid Media & Partnership Activation Lead plays a pivotal role in turning strategic marketing priorities into actionable, high-performing activation plans across paid channels and partnerships.
Working closely with cross-functional marketing, media, and analytics teams, this role ensures that strategic direction is translated into precision media activation that drives measurable business outcomes. You will orchestrate the execution of integrated campaigns across markets and platforms, ensuring consistency, speed, and impact — while maintaining full compliance with Sanofi’s standards and regulations.
This position requires strong expertise in media activation, deep understanding of data-driven marketing, and the ability to connect strategy, content, and channel performance in a cohesive and operationally excellent way.

Main Responsibilities
Media Activation & Execution
Translate strategic marketing objectives into actionable media activation plans across digital, programmatic, social, search, and partnership channels.
Partner closely with the dedicated media agency to ensure flawless campaign execution, budget adherence, and operational excellence.
Manage media briefings, audience targeting, and channel selection to maximize reach and relevance.
Collaborate with the (internal) creative teams to ensure assets are optimized for each audience and platform.
Agency & Partner Collaboration
Serve as the primary liaison with Sanofi’s media agency partner, managing priorities, workflows, and deliverables across brands.
Coordinate with the agency to track campaign progress, performance, and pacing, ensuring accountability and optimization at every stage.
Manage key third-party partnerships (e.g., publishers, digital health platforms, and point-of-care networks) to extend Sanofi’s engagement reach.
Evaluate and onboard new media or technology partners that enhance targeting, personalization, and measurement.
Performance Measurement & Optimization
Collaborate closely with the Intelligence & Optimization Lead to define media KPIs, performance metrics, and optimization frameworks.
Analyze campaign data to assess performance, identify improvement areas, and refine future media investment strategies.
Ensure data-driven decision-making and real-time performance insights are integrated into all campaign planning cycles.
Lead regular performance reviews with agency and internal teams to translate insights into action.
Operational Excellence & Compliance
Maintain clear, standardized processes for campaign setup, tracking, reporting, and post-campaign evaluation.
Partner with the Content Strategy and Operations Lead to ensure all campaigns adhere to Sanofi’s internal policies, MLR standards, and data privacy regulations.
Contribute to building scalable, repeatable frameworks for paid activation that can be applied across brands and markets.
Innovation & Capability Building
Drive adoption of AI, automation, and data-driven approaches to enhance media precision, personalization, and ROI.
Test and scale emerging media channels, technologies, and creative formats to keep Sanofi at the forefront of innovation.
Share best practices, playbooks, and case studies across markets to elevate media excellence and operational maturity.
About You
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
7+ years of paid media experience, with strong agency-side experience managing pharmaceutical or healthcare clients.
Proven expertise in translating marketing strategies into actionable, performance-driven activation plans.
Deep understanding of the end-to-end media process, including planning, trafficking, measurement, and optimization.
Strong knowledge of paid digital channels, audience targeting, and campaign analytics.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with experience managing agency relationships and cross-functional stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with a passion for insights, experimentation, and optimization.
Familiarity with compliance, privacy, and promotional regulations in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
Fluency in English required; proficiency in French is a plus.

The salary range for this position is:
