Our Team:
Sanofi Business Operations (BO) is an internal Sanofi resource organization set up to centralize processes and activities to support Specialty Care, Vaccines, General Medicines, CMO, and R&D, Data & Digital functions. BO strives to be a strategic and functional partner for tactical deliveries to Medical, Market Access, and Commercial organizations in Sanofi, Globally.
Main responsibilities:
The overall purpose and main responsibilities are listed below:
The Lead will serve as a strategic creative consultant, providing expert guidance and advisory services to various GBU operations and therapy areas. This role will develop creative strategies and design frameworks that optimize deliveries while achieving cost efficiencies across multi-layered teams
People:
(1) Mentor and provide strategic creative guidance to graphic design team members
(2) Serve as a creative design leader, coaching project managers and senior graphic designers on advanced design methodologies and strategic approaches (3) Build strategic partnerships with Scientific Writing teams and other stakeholders to offer creative solutions meeting strategic brand objectives and stakeholder requirements
(4) Contribute to innovation in creative technology adoption and implementation
Performance:
(1) Contribute to establish design quality standards to achieve creative excellence
(2) Contribute in developing strategic frameworks for tools, technology and processes to drive innovation and enhance creative productivity
(3) Serve as an expert on complex design challenges and provide strategic consultation
(4) Consult on resource optimization and strategic backup planning for business continuity
(5) Establish and promote design best practices as a trusted creative advisor
Process:
(1) Provide strategic consultation on project approaches, integrating creative excellence and innovative visual communication aligned with Sanofi's Ways of Working
(2) Contribute to developing quality frameworks incorporating best-in-class graphic design principles and visual storytelling methodologies
(3) Ensure creative outputs maintain scientific integrity and brand compliance (4) Serve as a consultant in graphic design, championing cutting-edge trends, accessibility standards, and creative innovation
(5) Contribute to developing quality assurance frameworks ensuring deliverables exceed industry benchmarks for visual excellence and creativity
(6) Foster continuous creative learning, design thinking, and collaborative innovation aligned with Ways of Working principles
(7) Collaborate on project management methodologies balancing creative exploration with efficient workflows
(8) Contribute to innovation initiatives expanding creative services
About you
Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience in graphic design within pharmaceutical industry; ability to influence and negotiate, ability in managing a team is a plus
Soft skills: Stakeholder management; communication skills; people management; and ability to work independently and within a team environment
Technical skills:
Experience/knowledge following brand guidelines
Knowledge of descriptive analyses and visualization
Ability to think creatively, aesthetically, independently and having good knowledge on all the graphic and current design trends
Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
Education: Graduate/postgraduate in any stream. Primarily in graphic design or art with focus on visualization of scientific content
Languages: Excellent knowledge of English language (spoken and written)
