Main responsibilities:

  • Coordinate medical capability building and training projects between regional and country affiliates, supporting the country medical head in executing medical leadership meetings

  • Provide strategic project management for integrated medical plans and country strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with global priorities and timely execution

  • Organize and manage external-facing medical activities including advisory boards and scientific meetings, coordinating with stakeholders, speakers, and agencies

  • Support country medical head in managing budgets and resources, generating monthly finance trackers and planning yearly allocations

  • Track KPIs, dashboards, and metrics to monitor progress of medical activities and plans across different franchises and products

  • Provide administrative support for stakeholder engagement, medical information handling, purchasing processes, and compliance documentation

  • Coordinate with regional medical operations teams to ensure alignment and seamless execution of activities

About you

  • Education: Degree in a scientific discipline (BS, MS, PhD, PharmD, MD, DVM) or related degree desired

  • Experience: Relevant professional experience in project management, including planning, budget management, and executing complex strategies in pharmaceutical, medical affairs, or related fields

  • Technical skills: Knowledge of project planning tools, budget structures, and management systems; experience managing complex projects with effective risk assessment and contingency planning

  • Soft skills: Strong transversal communication and networking abilities; effective interpersonal skills in matrix organizations; ability to work cross-functionally as an agile team player

  • Desired traits: Results-driven with attention to detail; collaborative approach with strong negotiation and decision-making skills; resilient and able to operate under pressure and tight deadlines

  • Languages: Proficiency in Japanese and English required
