About the Role
The Senior Change Manager will drive and orchestrate the execution of complex change management initiatives across transformation “flagship” programs resolving significant standardization, simplification and process optimization challenges for Sanofi and impacting large numbers of employees or service users.
This requires communicating and interacting with senior stakeholders, challenging the way we work across various functions and partnering enterprise-wide with COEs, support functions like Digital, P&C, Finance, aligning with GPOs etc.
It is a single contributor role which is expected to work self-responsibly, combining strategic change planning with hands-on execution, supporting Sanofi's mission to deliver best-in-class enterprise services through strong influencing and business partnership skills.
Main Responsibilities
1. Strategy & Framework Development
Design, plan and implement comprehensive change management strategies for complex transformation initiatives
Develop change management toolkits, templates, and best practices for Business Operations in line with global change management methodology for Sanofi, partnering closely with global team in P&C
2. Transformation Change Management Execution
Lead end-to-end change management for strategic transformation programs
Conduct comprehensive change impact assessments and stakeholder analysis
Develop and execute change management plans to maximize adoption and minimize resistance
Integrate change and communication activities into transformation plans
Perform proper tracking of deliverables and adjust plans based on organizational needs
Collaborate with transformation leaders to ensure seamless integration of change activities
3. Knowledge Sharing & Capability Building
Train change managers and other stakeholders on change methodology and best practices
Establish and facilitate a community of Change Agents across the organization
Promote change management mindset across BO organization
4. Stakeholder Management & Risk Mitigation
Assess change readiness across impacted groups and identify potential resistance
Develop and implement mitigation strategies for change-related risks
Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership
Facilitate effective stakeholder engagement and communication throughout change processes
Influence and engage stakeholders to drive successful change outcomes
5. Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
Monitor and track project milestones, KPIs, and success metrics
Evaluate effectiveness of change management initiatives
Drive continuous improvement of change frameworks and toolkits
Ensure compliance with established standards and methodologies
Report status and progress to leadership
Required Qualifications
Experience
5+ years of transformation experience in GBS industry
Proven track record in change management with demonstrated success in transformation projects
Strong project management skills with experience leading complex change initiatives
Experience advising and delivering complex change programs
Track record of incorporating change management practices into strategic projects
Ideally also business acumen in one of the areas where we have strategic projects (like global meeting & events, procurement, Finance, Medical
Key Skills
Strong stakeholder management capabilities at all levels of the organization, including senior executive stakeholders
Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
Strategic thinking with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Self-starter with strong initiative and ability to work independently under pressure
Ability to work effectively in uncertain, constantly changing environments
Multi-tasking capabilities with strong prioritization and time management skills
Collaborative mindset with ability to work across diverse functional teams

Ability to develop high-quality documents and presentations
Education & Certifications
Bachelor's degree required (Business Administration, Organizational Development, Project Management, or related field)
Master's degree preferred
Change management certification preferred (e.g., Prosci)
Project management certification a plus
Knowledge/certification in Continuous Improvement methodologies a plus (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
Fluent in English, second language is a plus
