To support this transformation and Take the Lead, Sanofi Business Operations brings together global business services under one umbrella, with a strong focus on efficiency and excellence. Within this organization, the Contract Obligations Management & Audit team—part of the Contract Excellence function in Global Procurement Services—ensures that vendors fulfill their contractual commitments through proactive monitoring and targeted supplier audits.

Reporting to a Supplier Contract Audit Director, the Contract Audit & Analytics Manager is a specialized, agile role working across audit teams to maximize the value of data throughout the audit lifecycle. Combining core audit execution responsibilities with advanced data analytics, SAP expertise, and AI‑enabled techniques, this role actively partners with supplier contract audit managers to shape audit strategies, accelerate investigations, and generate high‑value insights through data‑driven analyses and compelling visual storytelling.

Responsibilities

Audit Data Analytics

  • Contribute to the planning and execution of supplier audits covering contract compliance, performance, and financial integrity, including scope definition, audit analysis, stakeholder coordination, and action plans definition.

  • Perform data‑driven analyses to support audit scoping, planning, and fieldwork by extracting and interpreting SAP data (MM, FI, vendor, pricing, rebates) and other relevant information sources (e.g., contract lifecycle management tools).

  • Detect anomalies, trends, and inconsistencies using advanced analytics and AI techniques to expand audit coverage and efficiency leveraging internal and vendor data.

  • Ensure analytical rigor, high‑quality documentation, and a reliable audit trail, while communicating findings and following up on corrective actions.

Data Visualization & Insight Storytelling

  • Collaborate with existing data visualization resources to contribute to the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards supporting audit planning, execution, and reporting.

  • Support the translation of complex analytical results into clear visuals and insight‑driven narratives for audit debriefs and management communications.

  • Contribute to the standardization and continuous improvement of dashboards, indicators, and visual templates to enhance consistency, reuse, and scalability.

Team & Project Contributions

  • Participate in cross-functional projects aimed at enhancing audit tools, processes, and methodologies (e.g., Power BI dashboards, AI pilots, smart reading contract tools, …).

  • Maintain an active technology and market watch on analytics, AI, and audit‑enabling tools; proactively assess relevant market solutions and propose innovative use cases to improve audit effectiveness and efficiency.

  • Support the development of internal templates, training materials, and knowledge-sharing tools.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Serve as a point of support for data analytics within the audit team, promoting data‑driven approaches, monitoring the use of analytics tools, and contributing to adoption strategies and continuous improvement initiatives across the audit lifecycle.

  • Support audit managers in interpreting analytical results and integrating data‑based insights into audit conclusions and recommendations.

  • Contribute to elevating the team’s overall analytics maturity by fostering a common understanding of data concepts, limitations, and best practices through workshops and trainings.

About you

Required

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in audit, forensic analysis, contract compliance, or data‑driven risk environments.

  • Strong hands‑on SAP data analysis experience with large transactional datasets.

  • Proven ability to apply analytics in investigative and audit contexts.

  • Advanced proficiency in Power BI or data visualization tools (Qlik, Tableau) and scripting languages (Python, SQL).

  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

  • Fluent in English; comfortable in a global, matrixed environment.

  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Preferred

  • Experience with a Big Four firm or similar consulting environment.

  • Experience in audit analytics, consulting, or ERP‑focused analytics roles.

  • Exposure to process mining tools (Celonis, QPR, …).

  • Experience delivering executive‑level dashboards and insights.

  • Global or international experience and ability to work with a diverse team.

  • Multilingual (verbal and written).
