The Global M&S Services acts as a cornerstone to this effort. Our team is responsible for delivering and supporting M&S teams by acting as a crucial link between our R&D and Manufacturing facilities, playing a vital role in securing the present portfolio and delivering future launches of high-quality and innovative drugs and vaccines. The team members of the global M&S Services Hub will act as partners in carrying out tasks and fulfilling responsibilities to support global manufacturing sciences, analytics, and technology activities with a focus on global project management. Significant experience in the development of medical devices, drug device combination products and/or primary containers, and creation of Design Control documentation is necessary.

The Engineering organization is responsible for providing comprehensive Engineering support for GMP facilities across our global manufacturing sites. Our team:

• Supports commercial manufacturing operations and Global Cell Banking operations

• Maintains validated systems and ensures regulatory compliance

• Provides engineering support for all cGMP process and utility systems

• Manages facility planning and construction projects

• Collaborates across campus/site organizations to ensure seamless operations

About the job

Main responsibilities:

1. CAD Design & Documentation

  • Prepare 2D/3D construction drawings using AutoCAD/Revit from redlines, sketches, and layouts

  • Maintain comprehensive drawing lists (P&IDs, PFDs, Architectural, MEP drawings)

  • Ensure accuracy and adherence to CAD standards

  • Coordinate drawing files and electronic transmittals

  • Manage electronic project file systems

  • Perform site surveys and as-built documentation

2. Standards & Quality

  • Maintain global CAD standards

  • Ensure GMP-compliant documentation

  • Maintain audit-ready master drawings for regulatory review

  • Verify drawing updates and chart compliance

  • Manage workflows in document management systems (GEDMS , ZVS)

3. Project Support

  • Participate in construction/renovation projects

  • Coordinate with project managers on CAD requirements

  • Review contractor drawings for compliance to Sanofi standards

  • Support change control, deviation, and CAPA processes

  • Provide urgent support for projects or regulatory affairs

4. Collaboration & Communication

  • Work with cross-functional teams (engineers, project managers, quality)

  • Provide guidance on CAD systems and standards

  • Support regulatory inspections and audits

  • Respond to work requests (DT/DICT)

  • Act as single point of contact for drawing-related queries

5. Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve CAD processes

  • Support digitalization initiatives (3D modelling, BIM, CAFM)

  • Contribute to alignment with corporate standards

  • Participate in internal/external committees on building planning

6. Additional Senior Level responsibilities

  • Coordinate weekly CAD needs and resource allocation

  • Distribute and track CAD work among team members

  • Act as Primary System Owner (PSO) for CAD/CAFM systems

  • Provide training to staff and contractors

  • Regular reporting on deliverables and issues

About you

Experience:

• 5-6 years in construction, MEP (Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing), or industrial design

• Exposure to technical drawings (P&IDs, architectural plans, HVAC systems)

• Experience with document management systems

• 5-6 years in regulated industries (food, medical devices, aerospace)

• Understanding of quality systems and compliance

• Experience with change control processes, GMP experience, regulatory documentation

Technical skills:

• AutoCAD/AutoCAD MEP drafting proficiency

• Knowledge of drafting techniques and MEP engineering terminology

• Experience with electronic drawing management systems

• Understanding of GMP documentation requirements

• Site verification and as-built documentation skills

• Experience in GMP/pharmaceutical facility environment

• 3D CAD design experience (Revit, 3D modeling, ACC Cloud)

• Specific experience in piping or process design

• Experience with Meridian BlueCielo, GEDMS , or similar systems

• Knowledge of BIM and CAFM systems

Education: (not mandatory)

• High School Diploma + 3-5 years CAD experience OR Associate's Degree + 1-3 years

• Or Mid level (LL-4): High School Diploma + 5-7 years CAD experience OR Associate's Degree + 3-5 years

Languages:

• English (written and spoken) - required

• Additional languages based on location (French/German)
