Position Overview
Regional Market Access Specialist will provide critical support for data analytics and project execution within the Regional Market Access function in China MA team. This role focuses on supporting market access strategies, regional access policy and practice through comprehensive data analysis and efficient project coordination across regional markets.
Key Responsibilities
• Market Research and Competitive Intelligence : Conduct comprehensive market research to identify pricing trends, competitor strategies, and market access pathways across regional markets, synthesizing findings into actionable insights for strategic decision-making
• Pricing and Reimbursement Data Analysis: Support pricing strategy development by analyzing reimbursement landscapes, payer policies, and formulary positioning across different healthcare systems within the region
• Market Access Project Coordination: Coordinate cross-functional market access projects, ensuring timely delivery of milestones, managing project timelines, and tracking deliverables across multiple regional markets
• Ad-hoc Analysis and Support: Provide analytical support for urgent market access questions, competitive responses, and strategic initiatives as required by line manager.
Required Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Economics, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field
• Experience: 0-2 years of relevant experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical industry, consulting, or related analytical roles
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions), PowerPoint, and data visualization tools; experience with market research databases and analytical software
• Healthcare Knowledge: Basic understanding of healthcare systems, reimbursement mechanisms, and pharmaceutical market access principles
• Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical capabilities with attention to detail and accuracy in data interpretation
• Language Requirements: Fluency in English and local regional language(s) as required for the specific regional assignment
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to present complex data in clear, actionable formats
