As a Patient Experience Salesforce Advanced Therapy Management (ATM) Engineer, you will play a critical role in development, unit testing, deployment and code quality management that directly support our patient services mission. This position combines deep technical expertise in Salesforce ATM with a strong commitment to patient privacy, data security, and healthcare compliance standards.
Main Responsibilities
A Salesforce Advanced Therapy Management (ATM) role involves configuring and developing solutions for multiple therapies, focusing on patient management, multi-step scheduling (apheresis, manufacturing, infusion), therapy orchestration (using Salesforce Flows), and integrating with 3rd party systems, streamline the patient journeys from enrollment to treatment, requiring technical skills in Apex, Lightning, and deep functional knowledge of Healthcare Cloud processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Salesforce Development & Configuration: Designing, building, and customizing ATM applications, Apex classes, Triggers, Lightning Components, Visualforce, Flows, and Process Builders.
Therapy Orchestration: Implementing complex, multi-step therapy workflows (e.g., apheresis, infusion) using Salesforce Flows and defining stages, steps, and tasks.
Multi-Step Scheduling: Configuring and managing Salesforce Scheduler for booking appointments across different sites/territories for therapy steps.
Integration: Developing integrations with 3rd party tools for therapy orchestration.
Data Management: Managing participant data, clinical info, enrollment progress, and ensuring data integrity for complex care journeys.
User & Role Management: Setting up user profiles, permission sets, and ensuring proper access for business end users, coordinators, and other roles.
Reporting & Compliance: Configuring COI/COC (Chain of Identity/Custody) reporting and tracking.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.
Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.
Healthcare Compliance and Patient Data Protection
Maintain strict adherence to Sanofi Patient Services standards and compliance requirements.
Ensure all solutions comply with PHI (Protected Health Information) and PII (Personally Identifiable Information) regulations.
Implement GDPR-compliant data handling, storage, and processing practices.
Maintain patient data safety and privacy as the highest priority in all technical decisions.
Participate in compliance audits and implement remediation actions as needed.
Stay current with healthcare data regulations including HIPAA, GDPR, and other applicable standards.
About You
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 6 years of experience in software development.
Strong Salesforce platform expertise (Admin & Dev).
Proficiency in Healthcare Cloud, especially the Advanced Therapy Management data model.
Experience with Salesforce Scheduler, Flows, Apex, and Lightning.
Experience with Evaluation flows, platform events, CDC, REST, SOAP API & bulk API is required
Understanding of advance therapy processes and patient journeys.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams (clinical, IT, business).
Knowledge of Agent force is desirable
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices to streamline development and deployment workflows.
