Role Overview:

The US Respiratory Portfolio Marketing Director will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the Dupixent respiratory franchise across Asthma and COPD portfolio. This role will operate across both HCP and Consumer marketing, helping ensure commercial strategies and marketing programs drive meaningful patient, provider and business impact.

Critical to this role is the ability to bring an outside-in perspective to the business, pressure test brand strategies and campaigns, and identify opportunities to strengthen differentiation and accelerate growth across the respiratory portfolio. Keeping up with evolving macro landscape would ensure our teams are focusing on the right projects. This role will partner closely with indication marketing leads, Go To Market Capabilities, team, alliance partners, and cross-functional teams to ensure strong alignment, and collaboration.

The Portfolio Marketing Director will lead evaluating marketing strategies, campaigns, and investment decisions across the respiratory franchise to ensure strong differentiation and measurable impact. In addition, this role will lead the development and execution of portfolio-level marketing initiatives that span Asthma and COPD, helping establish a unified respiratory narrative across the franchise.

This role will also bring strong experience in consumer marketing, including managing large-scale media campaigns and partnering closely with agencies to develop, refine, and optimize creative and media strategies that drive patient engagement and brand growth.

Reports to the Head of Product Strategy for Respiratory.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of portfolio-level marketing initiatives, across indication campaigns that support the broader respiratory narrative. This includes all segments inclusive of pulmonologist, allergist, government etc.

  • Serve as AI lead for future-forward projects working with the customer engagement team, as well as scouting and evaluating agency partners to initiate new experiments.

  • Provide strategic input into portfolio marketing investments and campaign approaches, helping evaluate trade-offs and prioritize initiatives that drive the greatest business impact.

  • Collaborate with Asthma and COPD Marketing Directors as strategic partner, providing portfolio perspective, facilitating cross indication alignment, and driving franchise level initiatives that complement indication strategies. In addition to other cross functional partners such as GTMC, Medical, Market Access and A&I.

  • Lead relationship with agencies and cross-functional teams to develop, launch, and optimize integrated consumer campaigns across channels including TV/OLV, digital, social, and CRM.

  • Evaluate campaign performance and identify opportunities to strengthen messaging, creative, and channel strategy to improve marketing effectiveness and patient engagement.

  • Manage external vendors and agency partners to ensure high-quality execution and delivery of marketing initiatives.

  • Lead submission of promotional materials through the regulatory review/approval process (JRC).

  • Manage assigned budget and allocate resources effectively to maximize marketing ROI and support business growth.

About You

Qualifications:

  • 7–10+ years’ experience in Brand management, strategic marketing, or commercial strategy within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.

  • Experience managing consumer marketing campaigns and partnering closely with agencies to develop, execute, and optimize integrated marketing programs.

  • Familiarity with emerging AI trends and scouting for application potential and execution within our business.

  • Strong strategic thinking with the ability to synthesize complex inputs and translate them into actionable commercial recommendations.

  • Experience evaluating marketing strategies and campaigns across both provider and patient engagement.

  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and operate effectively within a matrixed organization.

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to leverage market research, customer insights, and data-driven decision making.

  • A comprehensive understanding of the key dynamics driving the US healthcare environment.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Respiratory experience

  • Management Consulting with focus on Immunology

  • Experience managing large-scale consumer campaigns such as TV/OLV, digital media, or omnichannel patient engagement programs

  • Alliance co-promote experience

  • MBA or master’s degree

The salary range for this position is:

$178,500.00 - $297,500.00
