About the job

As Global Commercial Project Specialist VIE within our Marketing team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Global Brand Lead in the strategic planning, coordination, and execution of global commercial initiatives for Sanofi's Type 1 Diabetes (T1d) portfolio. You will act as a central connector across cross-functional teams, markets, and stakeholders, ensuring that global brand strategies are translated into actionable plans that ultimately improve the lives of people living with T1D. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in global pharmaceutical brand management within one of the most innovative and patient-centric therapeutic areas at Sanofi.

Main responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate key global commercial projects for the T1D portfolio, ensuring timely delivery, alignment with strategic priorities, and clear communication across all stakeholders.
  • Provide day-to-day operational and strategic support to the Global Brand Lead T1D, including preparation of executive presentations, briefing documents, meeting materials, and strategic summaries.
  • Conduct regular analysis of the T1D competitive landscape, market trends, and patient journey insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Coordinate the preparation and consolidation of global brand materials, ensuring consistency of messaging and alignment with Sanofi's brand identity and compliance standards.
  • Ensure all commercial materials and activities are developed and executed in compliance with Sanofi's internal policies, local regulations, and industry codes (EFPIA, PhRMA).
  • Assist in monitoring the Global T1D commercial budget, tracking expenditures, processing purchase orders, and flagging variances to the Global Brand Lead.
  • Support vendor management and agency coordination for key commercial projects and deliverables.

About you

Experience:

  • A first experience (internship or apprenticeship) in pharmaceutical marketing, brand management, consulting, or project management is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with the pharmaceutical industry environment and drug development/commercialization processes is an asset.

Soft and technical skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) — advanced PowerPoint skills are a must.
  • Experience with project management tools (Smartsheet, Asana, MS Project, or equivalent).
  • Ability to analyze and interpret market data and business metrics.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms, digital marketing tools, or data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
  • Demonstrates ambition, intellectual curiosity, and a drive to deliver excellence.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multicultural, matrixed environment.
  • Deep commitment to improving outcomes for people living with Type 1 Diabetes.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Analytical thinker with a structured, results-oriented approach.
  • Comfortable working in a global, fast-paced environment with international stakeholders.

Education:

  • Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or a related field.
  • Strong academic record with demonstrated interest in the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry.

Languages:

  • Fluent English (written and verbal).
