As Global Senior Manager Early Access Program within our Specialty Care Managed Access Programs (MAP) and Cross-GBU On Demand Import License (ODIL) Operations you’ll help patients with serious or life-threatening conditions to have access to investigational products when they don’t respond or tolerate approved therapies and when they are not eligible to participate in a clinical trial. Main responsibilities:

  • Lead the operational implementation of MAP programs and ODIL operations, ensuring compliance and optimal resource allocation.

  • Drive continuous improvement, process simplification, and execution excellence.

  • Ensure end-to-end oversight of global and local programs, supporting eligibility, country selection, and blueprint validation.

  • Coordinate stakeholders and governance from program initiation through implementation.

  • Conduct regular portfolio reviews and risk mitigation with global and local teams.

  • Oversee vendor selection, contract execution, and adherence to operational KPIs.

  • Ensure patient treatment accountability and program reporting.

  • Collaborate with supply, quality, and procurement on logistics and operational matters.

  • Lead digital transformation, including AI integration and development of tools and dashboards.

  • Ensure audit readiness, compliance, and efficient resource management across global operations.

About you

Basic Qualification:

  • Educational background in a scientific field (Bachelor’s required; Master’s/PhD preferred) with fluency in English and strong data/digital literacy.

  • 3+ years direct working experience in Early Access Program management in the biopharmaceutical industry, Medical Operations including required understanding of the current pharmaceutical environment.

  • Experience of successful management of complex business critical cross functional programs, ability to successfully bridge between different fields of expertise, proactive troubleshooting managing program risks and challenges (including scenario and contingency planning).

  • Strong knowledge of drug development process, regulatory and business requirements related to Early Access Programs.

  • Demonstrated expertise in early access operations and end-to-end management of Early Access Programs.

  • Prior work experience directly managing GXP activities and MAP programs.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Strong leadership, facilitation, and interpersonal communication skills in English (written and verbal).

  • Experience improving MAP processes, whether in operational efficiency, compliance, patient access timelines, or cross-functional coordination.

  • Highly organized, results-driven, with excellent time management and ability to handle multiple projects.

  • Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, supported by strong data analysis skills.

  • Proven expertise in change management and driving adoption of new technologies.

  • Proficiency in digital and analytical tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Jira, Smartsheet, Power BI, AI tools).

  • Track record of implementing innovative solutions with measurable business impact.

  • Strategic mindset with focus on innovation, agility, and achieving business objectives.

  • Strong leadership through influence, coaching, and fostering teamwork and engagement.

The salary range for this position is:

$148,500.00 - $214,500.00
