Provide effective and efficient HR service delivery to colleagues and the business, with expertise in Background Verification (BGV), Offer Management, and Employee Life Cycle processes. Maintain accurate HR systems data and produce management information to support organization design, HR decision-making, and service delivery. Contribute to progressive HR initiatives within Sanofi India, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

Main responsibilities:

  • BGV & Offer Management: Manage the end-to-end background verification and offer management process, including coordinating with candidates and internal teams to collect, validate, and process all mandatory pre-employment documents in Workday. Ensure timely completion of background checks and pre-employment verifications while maintaining clear communication with candidates throughout the verification period. Validate all required hire documentation and apply necessary background and organizational checks to confirm hiring eligibility. Support the contract execution process and coordinate with recruitment partners to ensure all employment details are accurately documented and verified before candidate onboarding.

  • HR SYSTEMS: Provide Tier 2 Support for Workday related queries. Oversee and maintain Core employee data on Workday. Carry out system administration activities – e.g. system/data checks fault-finding and resolution. Support others using systems – e.g. Educating / Training and producing user guides. Take action as directed by Manager on HRMS requirements/activities. Responsible for ensuring the security and confidentiality of sensitive data. This covers data such as absence, turnover, grades, and job evaluation/salary/bonus figures. Ensure provisions of the Data Protection Act are followed. Configuring data and creating, maintaining and updating report specifications / templates. To maintain healthy employee relations and continually support users and various stakeholders on the use of HR Systems.

  • EMPLOYEE LIFE CYCLE: Regularly validate and audit employee files. Collate data for regular statistical reports on HR information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data. Provide basic advice on the policies and procedures to employees and managers. Submit monthly payroll inputs as per management instructions and employee requests. Complete Employee Life Cycle Management from hire to retire. Support on HR Systems (Workday) for business and HR processes.

  • Tier 2 Support: Handle employee queries related to people services process through the Tier 2 process. Assist with the planning, implementation, maintenance and documentation of all the Tier 2 process. Work within our ticketing system (OneSupport) to create detailed work logs and article documentation. Manage OneSupport tickets in a timely manner and ensure the SLA are followed. Prepare weekly dashboards and provide executive summary on weekly basis to the LT team. Work closely with the Tier 3 team and provide guidance whenever needed.

  • ON/OFFBOARDING - All India: Performing end to end on/offboarding activities for all the Headcount Functions. Provides consistent and effective communication regarding employee’s status and on/offboarding process. Closely monitors and ensuring the on/offboarding checklist are closed by respective stakeholders. Attends to all queries and concerns pertaining to the on/offboarding process. Assist with global initiatives pertaining to offboarding.

About you:

  • Experience: 5-7 years of experience in BGV, Offer Management, Employee Lifecycle and On/Offboarding process. Graduate / Post graduate qualification in HR

  • Functional skills: Knowledge of the latest tools and techniques in Human Resources. Demonstrate a good knowledge and understanding of HR Operations. Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Technical skills: Must have experience in ticketing tools like One Support, ServiceNow. Should have experience in Workday applications. Proficient in MS Office (e.g. Word, Power point & Excel)

  • Languages: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
