The Senior OPEX Analyst,Greater China, is responsible to support the ConOps Service Delivery Service in developing, establishing, and implementing a strategy to streamline OPEX management across GBUs and Functions in order to enable Finance teams to drive business decision making more efficiently while respecting China cross-border data transfer regulations. The responsibility of this role is to monitor the OPEX (especially HCP related cost) and to implement key process improvements initiatives aimed at standardizing and simplifying the way of working.
Main responsibilities:
- Design ways of working with Finance Business Partners across all GBUs and functions to provide cohesive and seamless support to Business Leaders.
- Implement transformation projects to drive process centralization, simplification, standardization with increased quality and accuracy while ensuring the daily business continuity across countries and markets.
- Deliver efficient, high quality and compliant controlling services related to the budgeting and forecasting as well as closing and reporting.
- Responsible for forecasting executing the budgeted OPEX plan including tracking actuals, approval of projects & providing direction to business owners.
- Develop insightful analysis of forecasted spend to Finance Business Partners and Business Leads.
- Understand and apply best practices from within ConOps or external best-in-class service organizations.
- Ensure Compliance and Internal Control / SOX standards are met. Perform necessary controls in line with all ethical & compliance rules of the Group.
- Be the single point of contact for Digital team for ConOps
- Enhance Financial related digital tool for local stakeholder
- Be proactive in the i-Shift role out
About you
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in a Finance related position with increasing responsibility
- Soft skills:
- Must have high attention to detail, quality, and proven ability to operate effectively under pressure and strict deadlines.
- Drive change and efficiency through proactively seeking feedbacks and challenging the status quo
- Must have open, collaborative and teamwork mindset to work collectively with FinOps including Service Delivery in KL and Service Mgt team in China as well as FBPs.
- Technical skills:
- Solid grasp of evolving Sanofi technology platforms, processes and controls including SAGA
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, work effectively with cross-functional partners and drive process improvement initiatives across an organization
- Good organizational and analytical skills as well as communication skills to build commitment and create trust
- Strong analytical capabilities, problem-solver and proven experience working collaboratively across multiple internal/external stakeholders is required
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required
- Preferred:
- MBA and/or CPA
- Commercial Finance experience
