About the job

As the Job Catalog Manager within our Master Data Management Team, you will be responsible for managing and governing the taxonomy of job families, job levels, job codes, job profiles, and career frameworks in Workday, playing a crucial role in enabling our skills-based organisation transformation. This role is essential for ensuring that our Job Architecture framework aligns with our strategic goals and supports workforce planning, talent mobility, and compensation equity.

Main responsibilities

Job Architecture Taxonomy Management

  • Managing structured job family groups, job families, management levels, job levels, job codes, and job profiles based on industry standards and organizational needs.

  • Ensuring that the Job Architecture taxonomy aligns with industry frameworks and accurately reflects the nature of work at Sanofi

  • Analyze market benchmarking data, industry standards, and internal workforce data to evaluate how job structures are evolving and ensure the taxonomy remains relevant, competitive, and forward-looking

  • Evaluate taxonomy effectiveness through metrics such as job profile completeness, consistency across regions, employee clarity on career paths, and alignment with business priorities—recommending continuous improvements

Job Profiles to Skills Integration

  • Supporting alignment of job profiles with skills taxonomy, including required proficiency levels for each role

  • Working with the Skills Intelligence Lead and other teams (Rewards & Performance, Talent, etc.) to ensure Job Architecture is being appropriately integrated with hiring, compensation, workforce planning, and career development processes and tools

Data Governance & Quality Assurance

  • Operationalize and enforce data governance standards to ensure the Job Architecture taxonomy maintains high levels of completeness, accuracy, consistency, and integrity

  • Co-design, implement and maintain governance processes, including intake mechanisms (forms, tickets) for People Business Partners and business stakeholders (Skill Owners, Subject Matter Experts, etc.) to request Job Architecture updates

  • Partner with Rewards and Performance, Talent Acquisition, and Strategic Workforce Planning teams to validate job architecture data structure based on evolving business needs

  • Document and socialize governance frameworks, standard operating procedures, and change management protocols to ensure transparency, compliance, and stakeholder alignment

  • Ensure regulatory and policy compliance in all Job Architecture-related data management activities

  • Ensure job architecture decisions are aligned to skills taxonomy governance

Stakeholder Engagement & Change Leadership

  • Act as the primary point of contact for Job Architecture taxonomy inquiries, serving as a trusted advisor

  • Support change management efforts to drive adoption of the Job Architecture taxonomy across the organization, including training, communication campaigns, and user support

  • Present insights and recommendations to leadership, translating complex data into clear, actionable business intelligence

About you

Education, Experience and Skills

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in job architecture design, organizational design, workforce analytics, master data management, or HR systems management—preferably within a global, matrixed organization

  • Expertise in Job Architecture frameworks and standards (Mercer, Willis Towers Watson, Korn Ferry, or equivalent)

  • Proven track record managing complex data governance initiatives and driving enterprise-wide adoption of Job Architecture or classification systems

  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and in HRIS platforms, particularly Workday (Job architecture, HCM, Talent Optimization)

  • Advanced skills in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Excel, SQL)

  • Experience with data governance, data quality management, and MDM principles

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and recommend effective solutions

  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Strong communication skills to present complex data insights in a clear and concise manner

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and work effectively within cross-functional teams

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences industry

  • Knowledge of compensation structures, career frameworks, and workforce planning methodologies

  • Familiarity with compensation benchmarking and market data integration is a strong plus

  • Familiarity with talent mobility platforms, workforce planning tools, or talent intelligence platforms

  • Certification in data governance, HR analytics, organizational design, or related disciplines

The salary range for this position is :Ft13 171 200,00 - Ft19 756 800,00

Final compensation will be determined based on demonstrated experience, skills, location, and other relevant factors. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs.
